I love the location and it is easy to walk to gorgeous beaches. The property is beautifully maintained, but the condo we stayed in looked tired and a little run down. I have stayed at nicer condos in my previous stays at the Palms.

This particular condo was terrible. The pillows for bed were lumps of old cloth. The furniture stunk, and were filthy, we guessed from people coming from beach with wet bathing suits. Just needed some deeper cleaning maybe. Primary shower did not drain had to stand in three inches of water. 10 day stay was only provided 1 kitchen garbage bag but was able to get more from desk clerk.

What I like about this place is it was close to the beaches and restaurants. What we did not like is that we have to pay extra for the AC in the second room and the living room. It was not disclosed when we booked. There was some mossing kitchen items. We requested for non smoking but it smelled cigarette inside the unit.

조용하고 가족들이 묵기 좋은 가성비 좋은 숙소입니다. 수영장이 조금 작지만 즐기기에는 충분합니다. 세탁기, 주방이 있어 편리하고 직원들도 친절합니다. 다만 아쉬운 점은 해변으로의 접근성이 좋지는 않지만 걸어서 15분 정도가면 좋은 해변을 즐길수 있습니다.

I stayed here with my family for a week trip in Maui! Absolutely loved the space, views, comfort and location for my family of 6! It felt like luxury home style living - so great I would definitely stay here again with my family!

1. The refrigerator in the unit was not cooling to a proper level for the food stored in it. On our initial day (7/17) we placed milk, yoghurt, butter, and other items needing refrigeration in it immediately upon our check in at 3:00 pm. That evening around 9 pm I noticed that the liquids were only slightly cooled. I adjusted the cooling level to a higher setting at that time. The next morning I again noticed that all of the food was still only slightly cooled. At that time I again adjusted the cooling level to the highest setting for cooling. We did not use any of the refrigerated items that day as we ate out at a restaurant. The next morning (7/19) I noticed the milk, yoghurt and juice in the refrigerator was again only slightly cool and the butter was soft and liquid in it's container. WE did not use any of those items for concern of their being spoiled. I also noticed that as I dispensed water from the refrigerator that it appeared to have sprayed onto the top shelf inside of the refrigerator from the filter compartment. The exterior water and ice dispenser was not clean, as well as the handles for both the refrigerator and freezer. We proceeded with our packing and preparation for checkout and either left food in the refrigerator or threw out the remaining items that were in there. The freezer appeared to be functioning properly. 2. Overall cleaning of the unit was marginal. The tile floors were filthy and countertops in the bathrooms and kitchen needed wipin

Needs improvement
After seeing our friends newly renovated condo at The Palms, we were disappointed in the outdated condo that we were assigned. There was only air conditioning in the bedroom which had a weird odor. The patio view was of the parking lot. There was mold in the bathroom. The complex was nice but our condo needed improvement.

Condo we we’re upgraded too was very old and needed a good cleaning. We woke up to bugs in the kitchen and spiders throughout the condo. The screen doors were off the rails and not easy to slide them open. Overall i was very disappointed and bugs make a vacation stressful! The counter staff very pleasant and helpful.

I want so much to give the property a good review, but I can’t. The gentleman at the desk was awesome, but housekeeping left a lot to be desired. We have been to Hawaii many times, and have never had this problem, especially for what you pay to stay! The room was dirty and there were roaches. Housekeeping was sent back to fix the problem however they never showed up.

We loved our stay and highly recommend staying here. The location, property, condo and overall area is extremely nice, quiet, safe and beautiful. Nearby beach access, shopping, food and golf. We will definitely stay here again for our next visit. Room was clean, all appliances worked, plenty of space and great view. Wailea is the only place to stay in Maui. Negatives: We were never told how to access the pool. Never got a key and I emailed and never had a response from the mgt. company. So we never used the pool. We had to vacate 1/2 of a day due to they had a termite maintenance during our stay (no reimbursement for this). There was a cleaning fee that was not disclosed and it was expensive. The Best Place to Stay in Maui
The Palms at Wailea is always such a wonderful place to stay. The condos are always clean, spacious and the amenities are amazing! When you call the front desk, they always are quick to answer any concerns. We have stayed at this facility every time we come to Maui to visit family.

I rented multiple places. Communication was decent when they changed one of my rooms but sometimes the hours were hard to reach the front desk. I rented 4 units and mostly satisfied in general. Each unit was very variable. One was really nice and one was really old. In general it seemed clean overall but there were some ants (I feel on the island, its impossible to avoid in a tropical setting). The a/c in the main room was really cool but the rest of the place does get hot. However, they do provide much of everything you need (it even has a bbq grill!!!!). The space is HUGE compared to many other places, which is great. The pool was nice and large. Mostly quiet. Overall besides the ants, can't really complain!

Kitchen silverware and dishes not fully accounted for. Only Only 3 teaspoons, six of other silverware. Glasses odd numbers? Challenging for seniors. Parking space. several spots away from entry. Stairs down to ground floor entry. (Awkward for taking in luggage and groceries.) Two stairs in condo down from bathrooms and bedroom. No railing. Pool has many steps down to the pool level on slippery tile with railing. Plus several steps then into pool.with a railing. The pool itself is made of very slippery tiles. The pool is 3-4 “ depth. Few pool rules with lots of children jumping, diving with limited supervision. Many children had limited swimming abilities with no parents in or near water.

Units are spacious however depending on the unit assigned you may end up with a unit that is outdated. Also there is a cleaning and damage protection fee that feels like a money grab (seems like it should be inclusive of the Expedia booking) and was very vaguely stated.

The Expedia listing is misleading. These are condos with owners. We had no internet or TV and when we called the front desk we were told that the owners must not have paid their bill and the services were disconnected.
