  • Goed gelegen op het middelpunt in Maui dat gemakkelijke toegang tot vrijwel alle interessante plaatsen op het eiland mogelijk maakt. Zwembad, barbaque, liften, airconditioning en een spectaculair uitzicht dat wordt vergroot in de unit met gespiegelde muren en nog adembenemend vanaf het balkon.

    Tegels vloeren, nieuw geverfd, en een grote queensize slaapbank biedt comfortabel plaats aan een gesplitst kingsize bed.

    Je bent letterlijk stappen naar het water in een uniek appartement dat gemakkelijk wordt omgezet in twee afzonderlijke appartementen voor meer privacy. Elke afzonderlijke studio kan afzonderlijk worden gehuurd voor zuinigheid of samen voor meer ruimte.

    Aan de top van Sugar Beach (het grootste ononderbroken strand op Maui) kun je naar hartelust joggen. u zult merken dat uw medehuurder vriendelijk en extravert is. Velen van hen komen uit Europa, Azië, Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland en het vasteland van de VS. Verwacht uitgenodigd te worden voor een maaltijd als je rond de kookfaciliteiten bent tijdens de maaltijd. Het is opmerkelijk dat tot 73% van onze gasten eerder bij ons zijn geweest.
    Historisch gezien werd Nani Kai Hale gebruikt door de oude Hawaiianen om hun netten te drogen en schildpadden te verzamelen die nu een beschermde soort zijn. Kano- en catamaranraces zijn vaak zichtbaar vanaf het met gras bedekte zonneterras tegenover de buitendouches en het verwarmde zwembad.
    Over het algemeen gaat Nani Kai Hale Resort verder dan de koortsachtige routines van de meeste strandaccommodaties. De privacy en vredige ambiance is rustgevend.

Host was very accommodating! They are wonderful people and deserve five stars for wanting to work with us on our time there. Unit is a bit dated though and could use a refresh.

Great stay

Property description was spot on, location allowed access to many of sights of Maui. The pool was awesome and the beach was beautiful. Host was very responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is economy digs in a great property on the beach. I stayed with just my kids and I. It was comfortable enough to sleep and cook in and we spent the rest of our days exploring and playing at the beach. Tony, our host, was such a gracious host and we will definitely stay here again. This property made it affordable for me to bring my kids to Maui!

Budget accomodations on the beach

If you're looking for a place in Maui directly on the beach with a nice pool but you're on a budget, this is the place for you. It's on a beautiful beach with awesome sunsets. The patio on the beach has tables, BBQ grills and lounge chairs. There is also a very nice pool. If you're looking for a luxury condo this is not it, the place could use some updating but if you're staying inside while in Maui, you're a fool.

As others have said, Tony’s unit is a little shabby, but it had everthing we needed We accidentally locked ourselves out and within 15 minutes someone came and graciously let us in.

Lovely area, lovely views. If you’ve read the reviews, you know what to expect. the place was more than adequate for us, but I could understand others being disappointed. I would recommend staying here if you’re an easy going person who does not get upset over the little things. I reached out to the owner a day in advance regarding the check in system so it was seamless when we arrived. I hope to return again!

The location on Sugar Beach was AMAZING! The grounds and community area was beautiful! Lots of outdoor furniture and BBQs. Loved the cat 🐈‍⬛ Kai. The Condo was clean and had everything we needed……But all furnishings were Vintage and in need of an UPDATE!!!! A coat of paint would make a huge difference!!! And a NEW SOFA!

This place was filthy with mold and water damage in every room. We left after the third day. I became very ill from the filth and mold. The shower in the 2nd bathroom was broken. The ocean view is ‘partial’ at best. There were stains on the sheets and pillow cases.

Was in extreme need of updates. Mostly clean. Nice location. Walked to one restaurant, hawaiian ice place and farmers market. View from balcony was great. When calling property manager his voice mail was always full so you had to keep calling till he answered. Had a problem and he did come over in a timly manner and resolved the problem.

The room was older. Location was excellent. Beautiful view of the ocean and easy access . I misplaced my key to the condo and the owner drove out and gave me a replacement. My biggest issue was the windows were filthy. My first morning was spent cleaning them as I hate looking out dirty windows. I probably could have called the owner to resolve this issue, but there were cleaning supplies and I was eager to get it done. Overall, I had a great stay and would stay there again.

Everything you need to enjoy your stay in Kihei on Sugar Beach!

This property offers all the amenities you need and more over a hotel stay! All the comforts of home plus the "beach life"you are looking for. This is our 2nd stay at Nani Kai Hale and has yet to disappoint us. We had a tv signal issue and Tony (God bless him) was on it right away. He came over got on the phone with the carrier and had a repairman over to fix the issue, that's service and caring! The atmosphere is quiet and super relaxing (except the soothing crash of waves),the residents and property manager are friendly and helpful. There are no "party animal" issues here, to hamper the serenity and beauty of this property! Kathy and Dave from Alberta, Canada.

Disappointed as soon as we opened the door

Unit is run down, dirty and in need of repairs/upgrades; torn couch cushions, dirty curtains, duct taped A/C in living room only, ceiling fan in living room didn’t work, fan in bedroom noisy/dangerous and missing a blade, no closets available as they were filled with stuff. Ants in kitchen, kept everything in refrigerator. Mold in tub/shower. Common areas; pool, ocean front grass area, bbq, lounge chairs well kept. Unfortunately not the unit didn’t live up to the advertised pictures.

Room/space was clean comfortable and equipped with all needed amenities. Location was great - right on the beach with easy access to water. A quick walk downthe beach gets you to a nice little Farmers market and bakery. Easy access to food and markets. Excellent homebase with ease to hwy for day trips to explore entire island from. Upon arrival I was disappointed with the condition of the condo. Not represented as the pictures. The property is in a great location. We had a rental car which offered us the opportunity to explore everything Maui has to offer. If you are a couple looking for a nice place to celebrate a 70th birthday this is not the place for you.

Overall it was a good stay. The Vrbo listing did not have the unit number and when we got there I tried to call the owner with no answer. Had to actually call the property to get the unit # The unit was clean except for tiny ants in the kitchen. There was not food or anything there for the ants though. Great access to the beach and on site pool. Overall it was amazing

Great place right on the water!

After searching for quite a while to find reasonably priced accommodations I was stoked to find Tony's condo. I had read previous reviews stating that the unit is a little older and hasn't been updated so I expected that, it was honestly in better shape than reviews made it sound. It was extremely clean and in a wonderful location. The condo has everything you need for cooking, it also has 2 bathrooms! The location is perfect, you are close to both sides of the island the island and there is a store, farmers market and a sandwich shop within walking distance. Tony really went out of his way to make our stay extra special since we had been good guests. My partner and I found it incredibly comfortable! Don't expect a 5 star resort but if you're on a budget this place is perfect.
