'What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. '

'the room was spacious enough and the bed was very comfortable. we liked having the little kitchenette and it was suitably set up for simple meal preparation. the location is out of town, so we found it peaceful, and it was handy to Mount Panorama which my husband liked. it is a large, somewhat rambling facility with some communal areas like lounges and kitchenettes, that might appeal if conditions meant you need to stay indoors. 'The bed linen had wee stains on the duvet. Spoke to the host and she assured me it had been cleaned. The breakfast bar closed very early and did not look fresh. reception didn't offer any info about the hotel. The pool was also very cold and therefore not usable. It felt like a hotel that was running on the bear minimum.'

'Comfortable and quiet, despite being located on a hill next to the highway. Executive rooms have a small balcony with very nice views. A simple breakfastbuffet is included. Some rooms/bathrooms are suitable for disabled persons. '

'It was noisy right next to the train station and all the doors squeaks and makes a noise when someone goes in or out of their rooms.'

'Great boutique hotel minutes from the Main Street, bars and restaurants. Great customer service, clean rooms and a nice continental breakfast delivered to your room. Highly recommend. '
