'We greatly enjoyed our time here. As soon as we walked in, it felt like home. The home is very roomy and yet, very comfy. Plenty of sleeping areas, entertainment areas, provided everything needed for a great family getaway. Firepit and being steps away from the lake with breathtaking sunrises was a plus - the memories made, were unforgettable! Host is very responsive. I had several questions as we weren't familiar with the Lexington area and she was very accommodating with lots of suggestions...

'The cottage is an easy 5 minute walk to a private community beach on Lake Huron. On a holiday weekend, there was always plenty of room for us and everyone was friendly. The house was clean and quiet. Comfortable beds. Everything we needed in the well-appointed kitchen. Only two of us and a dog on this trip, but there was enough room for 4 to stay comfortably. Charcoal grill and firepit available for use. Diana was a great communicator.'

'This is our second time staying at the cottages. Perfect location across from the beach, and park. Clean and comfortable. Lots of games for playing indoors when cool, and an outdoor fire pit , volleyball court and outdoor toys for playing outdoors. The host is very responsive, and super helpful. Perfect place whether visiting in the summer or Fall.'

'This house in on the water, with a private beach. Sit on the patio and hear the waves and watch the boats go by. Very nice! The home has a large kitchen that is very well stocked. Clean house, Good location, quiet neighbors. The host is very responsive and friendly.'

'This is a great place to relax and enjoy Lake Huron! The home is very clean and inviting. My grandchildren and I enjoyed the beach and surrounding area. An evening swim and then a campfire on the beach is incredible.'

'Overall, this place was as advertised. I stayed with my husband, 14 month old child, my sister, and my parents. Check in was smooth, and communication was fast and easy when we needed to locate towels. We chose to stay at a VRBO instead of a hotel because we needed access to a kitchen for baby bottles and cooking in general. The kitchen was mostly well-appointed, but we had to borrow baking sheets from other family. Other guests left behind a ton of food in the pantry, most of it expired,...

'Pros: steps off the water for fishing and beautiful views. Very clean water Shared dock for swimming and fishing. A couple family parks for family nearby The staff was very good at getting us new supplies as needed. It was a comfortable space with air that works but it did leak. Shared firepit was very nice. Cons: its also a motel- dont expect being alone or quiet space. There are people that live there or stay there with no common courtesy and leave messes everywhere. Some other guests had no...

'We take guy trips to fish Lake St. Claire and decided to take the wives up for a weekend getaway. It was our first time on the upper part of the lake and it's loaded with fish and things to do. The house and Christa (host) are great. You can't go wrong with a house right on the lake with a hot tub and a bar and grill (Island Grill) right around the corner on the water. If your looking for a getaway I highly recommend it!'
