'The cabin was very clean and so well stocked. We found everything we needed and more. Very spacious and comfortable in the living areas.We used the bedroom with the big wooden bed frame. Tough to get up into the bed and , at least for me, the mattress was very, very hard. 'My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!'
