'All communication with the host was friendly and kept us up to date on what would be going on with the larger house that is not part of the suite we were in. The provided directions got us to the location without any trouble, even well after sunset. This in-law suite slept two comfortably. We had our college age daughter with us who slept on the futon. The futon isn't the best of accommodations for sleeping but worked out just fine for a college age person who has had less comfortable beds in...

'We found dog hair on the only two chairs that were in the room.
I found a long human hair on one bed pillow, our slippers were full of dog hair from the floor, outside the door was dirty and spider webs everywhere.
The bed was up against the wall making it difficult for the person close to the wall to get out of bed. No closet to hang our clothes.
Sure wasn’t anything we expected, I booked for two nights but we only stayed one night.
The host gave us a full refund which made it good for us.'

'Super awesome content house in a relatively quiet neighborhood! Cell reception was not great so accessing the info was tricky at first but the property was exactly as described and beauitful. Little bit small honestly and didn't fit our whole party so one of our guests did book a hotel but overall it was good for the night. Lots of cool art installations.'

'We enjoyed our stay in Portland. The house was in a perfect location to visit everything the city has to offer and is close to the major roads if you want to visit sites further away. Fred Meyer within 5 minutes was perfect for our shopping.
The kitchen was full of utensils and it is no problem to cook your own meals. An extensive TV package is provided. A nice surprise was the airconditioning as it was not advertised but very welcome for the hot days during our stay.'

'We enjoyed our stay overall and appreciated the opportunity to visit Portland. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable visit, but there were a few things that could be improved for future guests. There was a noticeable smell inside the house that never really went away during our stay. The pillows were also difficult to sleep on, as they were either very flat or extremely firm, so having a few medium-support options would be a nice addition. We also noticed that no washcloths were...
