'I booked a double-bed room with a private bathroom, but when I checked in around 10 p.m., I discovered the bathroom was shared with unknown guests in another room and, unbelievably, it had no door lock. The bathroom was terrible: the showerhead looked over 50 years old and sprayed water unpredictably, the shower area was too small for a six-foot person, and the sink inside the room drained extremely slowly. The lodge even provides earplugs because it is so noisy. Reception said no...

'Well maintained property fronting on a nice small lake with small private sand beach. Ideal for families with kids. Pontoon boats on docks block view of the lake on first floor units, but not a deal breaker. The check in procedure needs a bit of work, but it all worked out, would definitely stay again. Fish dinner at restaurant right down the street is to die for!'
