He said itโs a very traditional Japanese place to stay which he appreciated. He is not in Japan to stay in American style hotels. Also, the price cannot be beat. Kikusui is close to Imabari port area. If you don't mind a 12 minute walk from the station, it is a nice and interesting part of town to stay and walk around. The views are marvellous.'

'This place is awesome. I wish we had stayed longer. We stopped here for the night because it is the half way point for the Shimanami Kaido bike route. The residence was an independent structure with a large window looking out to the sea and the bridge. Sunrise was gorgeous. The unit has a beautiful bathroom, very nice bedroom and new clean kitchen. Everything about the residence was top-notch, including the amenities. The breakfast and dinner that we chose were amazing. Loved this place....
