'Was originally put off with the BROWN Paint on the external metal as it appeared old and rusted. I was incorrect, the place is new and the paint was new. Just an optical illusion. They supplied Fresh Bread and Local Jams. Being Country people they offered a warm welcome. Down stairs double bedroom, with door, Upstairs was Double Bed and Single Bed, in an open environment. Accomodation was immaculate with all the Kitchen utensils and plates and bowls etc. Great for a country get away'

'Absolutely divine! I was looking for a peaceful writing retreat and that's exactly what I got! The history of the cottage was what drew me in but the way it has been lovingly restored was gorgeous. The heated bathroom floor and beautiful claw foot bath were amazing. The bed extremely comfortable and the fire was very much used on the chilly nights. 'From the time we reached there, Allan and Loraine made us feel welcomed as if we were visiting family or friends.The property was super clean, very well supplied and they seem to have carefully considered little details to make the experience great - things like there is a small torch in keychain for example. The porch has amazing mountain views and you can enjoy perfect sunset. They are also beekeepers, they offered us free honey tasting and samples. We really liked it and purchased some of it....
