'The house worked out very well for our family. Well located for all we wished to do. Maria did a great job setting up beds to accommodate our additional person. We did not cook any meals as we were gone all day but if one so desired everything was available. As long as you have a car I would highly recommend this property!!'

'Very nice place to stay and relax after a day trip. Plenty of room good showers and a hot tub sauna and steam bath. Very clean when we arrived. Good cooking facilities. We had a small issue with the hot water system that was solved quickly after consulting the owner. '

'This house was amazing. Incredible views. It was very clean with an updated kitchen and bathrooms. Our teenage kids loved the sauna, cold bath, hot tub and fitness gym. We all loved the incredible coffee maker. This is one of those rentals that is even nicer than the pictures make it appear. We stayed here for the first two nights of our week-long trip in Iceland and we used this to visit Reykjavik. 'Our stay and our host were absolutely amazing! Johannes was kind, communicative, and informative! It was a blessing to stay in his family home. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to great coffee/bakery, the botanical gardens and an ice cream shop. When we return to Iceland, we will stay here again!'

'Me and my boyfriend had a good stay at this property. It has parking for anyone hiring a car. The host was great, offering breakfast and lifts if needed. There was a language barrier but anyone who is not Spanish can just use google translate and it is easy enough. We had full use of his flat including the kitchen etc. Cheaper alternative to hotels and a nicer option than hostels. '

'A very nice, cosy and complete house. Everything you need is available. Rich kitchen, good beds, perfect shower and a hotpot. Nice surrounding views and perfect location to explore all of the south and south-west of Iceland. The perfect place to be when you planned a Iceland holiday. '

'This spotless, beautiful designer’s-eye property could not be better located for a Reykjavik visit. About ten minutes on foot to the Hallgrímskirkja, and from there you can walk the entire downtown all the way to the harbor area if you wish (as we did). There is a little park right across the street (bring your disc golf discs boys) which also houses the Kjarvalsstadir location of the National Museum—well worth a stop and also has a fantastic cafe. This came in very handy when it was pouring...

'For our first three nights in Iceland, this was perfect. Easy to get to from the airport. Great little town to be in. You have to eat the pizza drink the beer. We even played the local frisbee golf course, which was very challenging. Very friendly area.. Easy location for the golden circle, and the south coast.'

'No front desk. You get an email with the access codes (which we never received) and you have to call a number for assistance. The keypad to the main door didn’t work to get us so they gave us the employees code to get in. And our room was right above a bar that was open until 3:00am. The room was really warm even with the heat turned all the way down and we couldn’t open the window because of all of the noise from the bar. '
