Mooi resort op een pachtig strand alleen savonds is er niets te beleven en zijn er zwerfhonden die het onmogelijk maken om aavonds de bungalow te verlaten.

Slechte staat van onderhoud van al het meubilair en de faciliteiten. Dit resort is ongetwijfeld vroeger mooi geweest maar is nu sleets en smoezelig. De huisjes zijn overigens wel ok als je de keiharde matrassen buiten beschouwing laat.

Beachfront villa ..fantastisch
Heerlijk hotel alleen vreselijk teleurstellend dat ik een huisje had voor pick up point,dus de hele dag in de herrie van de longtailboten...very dissapointed had de beachfront villa right in front of the pick up point...noise from the longtales the whole day and staff and people walking true your part of the beach

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for staying with us and thank you for your comments. Regarding the feedback about the noise of the boat, please kindly allow us to further explain that since we are on the island then the possible transfer from the mainland is the boat then it might be some noise from the boat with the check in and check out guest. However, the peak time for the check in and check out boat is around 10AM-2PM only (but not every minutes) after that it will be better. Since the beach at the south side is prime location and not the private beach, everyone want to relax, swim or chill out there then no wonder it will be the place that crowned by the guests, the staffs and the guests from other part of the island. *Tip* If the guests are light sleep or sensitive to the loud noise or prefer quiet and private area, we would like to recommend the room at the north side (same side with Koh Mook Pier). Even the view is not much popular because of the pier but it more quite with some shade trees. I hope that we will have a chance to welcome you again in the future. Regards, Koh Mook Sivalai Team

De locatie is echt prachtig. Het restaurant is matig. De huisjes zijn mooi door de uitstekende ligging maar ansich zijn de beachvilla's best gedateerd en er hangt geen fijne geur. Overall prima verblijf gehad maar al het vertier en eten/drinken buiten het resort genuttigd. Vele leuke barretjes en restaurants op kleine loopafstand. Prijs/kwaliteit vind ik matig. De premium op de prijs is puur voor de ligging.

Heerlijk schoon huisje aan het strand
Prachtig resort op een fijn eiland. Wij waren er begin augustus. Het is dan heel rustig op het eiland. Achteraf zijn wij erg blij dat wij in dit hotel zaten daar waren in ieder geval nog wat andere vakantiegangers. De huisjes zijn erg mooi en schoon. Fijne klamboes boven de bedden. Het ontbijt was wel beperkt helaas. Het eten is er wel erg lekker 's middags en 's avonds.

A beautiful resort with an astonishing view when waking up. The resorts consists of private houses beautifully located. The first swimming pool is somewhat small, the second is larger and both are clean and new. Reception and cleaning staff is very adequate and thorough. Only point of improvement is the restaurant personel, they're a bit moody. Not really helpful and relaxed. Food is avarage for thai standards but priced okay. Go here in june-aug summer months! The resort is as good as empty, yet Koh Mook is still comfortable, idyllic and beautiful. And you get to relax on your own beach. Activities at the Hotel are plentyfull in high season, there is not much to do in low season. Travel to here from Bangkok - Trang and than take a minivan/longtail, which is very easy and not expensive.

Tolle Hotelanlage am wunderschönen Strand. Herzlicher Empfang. Wir hatten den Bungalow 1st row- ein herrlicher Ausblick, besser geht es nicht. Das Restaurant ist neu renoviert, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Essen ist super, zu guten Konditionen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden wieder kommen.

Die Lage des Hotels war wunderbar. Das Personal immer freundlich und überaus aufmerksam. Der Strand war traumhaft!! Das Essen war super lecker. Die Preise für das Sorroonding waren echt okay! Tripps incl. Abreise wurden hervorragend organisiert Einziger Manko.. das Bett war ein bisschen zu kurz bei einer Körpergröße von 180. Ansonsten Danke für die wunderbare Zeit die wir im Sivalai verbringen durften. Wir können es nur empfehlen 😍

Super resort
Vi var vilde med resortet. Dejligt hus, lækker beliggenhed, god mad og service, gode faciliteter og muligheder, samt den flotteste strand. Fra molen så vi skildpadder og en søko. Det var vildt.

Very nice resort
A very nice hotel with a excellent location on the island. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and serviceminded. The only bad thing is all the long-tail boats and the noise when they pass the hotel all day.

Die Lage des Resort ist traumhaft. Die Bungalows zweckmäßig. Das Frühstück, wenn es als Buffet angeboten wird, genügt allen Ansprüchen. Wenn allerdings wenig Gäste im Ressort wohnen, z.B. während der Low-Saison, gibt es das Frühstück lediglich stark eingeschränkt a la Carte. Die Nutzung des Strandes wird einem leider durch eine Sandfliegen Plage stark verleitet. Auch ist das Müllproblem in Ban Muk Village stark präsent.

It is an awesome property with a stunning beach and amazing staff. The beach villas are geat and the island is still not very mass touristy. It is a calm island so please don't go if you want to drink and party.

Super ophold - vil tilbage med det samme!
Vi havde de bedste 6 dage på hotellet. Sødt personale, helt lowkey stemning. Rejste med tre børn på ca. 1, 3 og 15 år og alle var glade. Meget smuk strand!

We loved the resort, but we saw a lot of plastic bags, cups, bottles on the beach. We picked them on our way. It’s sad to see so many, especially near the bridge. The resort could have provided beach bags for guests who wish to pick up plastic items. Thank you.

Nice beach. Bungalow a little dated. Bathroom dark. Check-in could be improved. Breakfast a bit chaotic. Evening meal tasty but more expensive and no better than walking into the village restaurants. Best location on the island.

Nice clean cabin second row from swimmable beach. Good breakfast. Walking distance to city center. No money exchange in city center. Property phone number not working. Hard to communicate problem with reception. No instructions on how to operate safe box in a room. Employee communicate with walkie talkie. Hard to get around island through muddy roads. Island still recovering from Pandamic.

Soup to Nuts, my son and I had a wonderful stay. The room, staff and location were all top shelf. The resort was also clean and the grounds were maintained nicely.

Very nice accomodation in a great setting. Best place on Koh Mook no doubt. Seems all Thailand is still struggling post covid, and the island is no exception. Resort very well kept and maintained, cannot say the same for the rest of the island

Romantic days at Koh Mook
The hotel announced just before we arrived that they had to close the bars and kitchen due to COVID amongst the employees working there. They arranged with breakfast at the next door hotel. Ok but not great. The bungalow first row view was amazing and super romantic ❤️. Super nice room but the bed was terribly hard 😢.. difficult to sleep, bring your own pillow. The Sivalai is the best accommodation on the island if you like high standards and when they opened the restaurant we enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the amazing located tip of the beach… beautiful view and just fantastic to dine in the sand under the stars !! Koh Mook is very quiet, nice and friendly and helpful locals, very cheap lunch and dinners at Sugar & coffee restaurant at the beach… Rent a long tail boat and discover the island and nearby islands.

Beste Unterkunft auf Koh Mook
Wir hatten den teureren Bungalow direkt am Strand, und das hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Was für ein toller Blick am Morgen direkt aufs Meer - auf der Veranda kann man auf Liegestühlen wunderbar entspannen. Strand sauer, Wasser absolut klar. Das Resort wirkt sehr gepflegt, könnte aber eine kleine Modernisierung vertragen - das Wifi etwa ist auf dem Stand von 2010. Die Mitarbeiter*innen waren freundlich, aber vor allem im Restaurant oft überfordert.

War früher sicher sehr gut.
Wir hatten das Sivalai wegen der tollen Bilder mit der Landzunge gebucht. Diese gibt es so leider nicht mehr. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Hotel selbst wurde für uns nicht so optimal renoviert.

Luxury, relax, very quiet. 4/6
Great stay at Sivalai. A bit to quiet for our taste. Good breakfest with omelette. Should have done more with the beachfront area, very old fashioned. No lounge area, no bar, no hammocks, just ordinary sun chairs. Great day trips to Koh Krangan & Ngai. Some of the best snorkling we experienced. A good place to relax.
