Super view
The walk from the pier was pretty terrible but you could arrange when they are there to collect luggage (a few times a day but I missed them). The room I had was great. Super comfortable bed, big television, lovely balcony With stunning views and comfortable seats and loungers on the balcony. They also have a cute detail that is a an electric insect tennis bat to kill possible insects with ease. I did not see it he pool so can’t comment on this. Notes: it’s pretty out of the way and there is some climbing involved. I would not advise to stay here if you’re a bad walker.

Prima hotel. De kamer zag er netjes uit, de badkamer vonden wij wat minder. Niet heel schoon en wat oud. Ook konden wij onze buren heel erg goed horen. Maar verder een prima verblijf gehad. Vooral de locatie is super. Net uit de ergste drukte, maar wel op loopafstand van de winkeltjes en restaurantjes!

Mooie lokatie met een fantastisch uitzicht. Je moet wel goed te been zijn ivm de hoogte verschillen. Personeel kan wel vervoer over het terrein regelen voor de minder valide.

Nice room,big balcony,great bed and big bathroom.
As in the title... The walkway to our room was very hilly, where we saw a big scorpion. The reception can be very busy, they are old fashioned. The breackfast is very bad, taste is not good, only the eggs which they make fresh for you are good, but you must be patient because there was always a line of app 5 minutes. The beach is only a short walk but it was very small and the water not as clear as hoped. The tide change very big where with low tide you can walk very far and with high tide very hard to go in. Long beach is a 15 min walk where the last five minutes is steep thrue a jungle, you need anti muscito on your body. The centre is 10 min walk and good to reach.

De goedkopere huisjes hebben allemaal connecting doors. Onze buurman snurkte keihard waardoor onze kinderen wakker werden. Na geklaagd te hebben kregen we een deluxe huisje zonder buren. Huisjes zijn goed onderhouden en hebben een mooi uitzicht. Enige minpuntje was dat we bij het vrijstaande huisje een kraan hadden die je altijd bij openbare ruimtes ziet. Dus indrukken en dan 5 seconden water. Verder staan de huisjes op een heuvel waardoor je veel meters omhoog moet lopen. Als je slecht ter been bent dan is dit hotel geen aanrader. De laatste dag waren al snel de handdoeken op bij het zwembad en werden niet meer aangevuld. Ontbijt was wel oké.

Ko Phi Phi is a beautiful island. The houses are nice and clean with a beautiful view and a balcon. IT was a shame that the swimming pool was closed. You can use the swimming pool nearby. The beds on the beach are very dirty.

De huisjes zijn nieuw en prima, locatie is ook perfect maar park is verder vervallen. Wel is het zo dat ze aan het renoveren zijn dus ik verwacht in de toekomst dat het er weer perfect uit zal zien.

Mooie ligging, op loopafstand van de stad, locatie
Heerlijk 9 dagen in dit hotel geweest.Het ligt aan een schitterende baai en het strand.Op loopafstand van de stad en restaurants. Dit is het rustige gedeelte van het eiland en het is er heerlijk. Kamer was netjes en werd goed schoongemaakt. Iedere dag 2 flesjes water op de kamer. Longtails kunnen gehuurd worden voor tripjes naar Long Beach of voor prive tochten. Niet voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn , aangezien de huisjes allemaal hoog gelegen zijn . Dus via trappen of een steile helling . Bagage wordt netjes voor je van de longtail gehaald en naar je kamer gebracht! Ook wordt je bij aankomst per longtail naar je accommodatie gebracht.Wij hebben genoten en ik raad dit hotel zeker aan!

Thuis komen
Voor de derde naar Phi Phi geweest en voor de derde keer verbleven in het Bay View Resort. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is helemaal goed. Verwacht geen overbodige luxe, maar er zijn een totaal geen negatieve opmerkingen. Kamers zijn ruim, netjes en zuiver. Badkamer is ruim. Uitzicht is geweldig.

Prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding prima in balans
Superfijn resort ziet er goed uit, het centrum van phi phi is op 10 minuten loopafstand. Je moet wel een stukje over het strand lopen om bij het centrum te komen. De bungalows zien er goed uit, helaas niet toegankelijk voor mensen die slecht te been zijn wegens de vele trappetjes, daar hebben ze overigens wel golfkarretjes voor. Let op bij de toeristeninformatiedesk van het hotel bijna dubbele prijzen voor de excursies. Tip loop het centrum in en boek bij een ander bureau, wel onderhandelen ook al staan er prijzen aangegeven als vaste prijzen. Prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding is dit een resort wat wij als prima hebben ervaren!

I loved the view, staff was very friendly and helpful, had a few issues with the room during check-in however staff was very quick to help solve any inconveniences. Would stay again.

The property is on the side of a hill which is quite steep this property is not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues However it is close to town but with the feeling that it is in the jungle It is nice and quiet the reception is on the beach I loved the location it gave the best of both worlds I would stay here again

Quiet location - 15 min walk to harbor area. Comfortable room ( Grand Deluxe Villa SeaView )with great view 2nd level up. Can walk to Love Beach, Viking beach, and Long Beach across hillside stepping stones. Breakfast had a fair selection. Staff helpfully. Shuttle service to ferry. BUT NO SWIMMING POOL AS UNDER MAINTENANCE - not informed until arrival NO RESTAURANT FOR LUNCH OR DINNER NO BBQ OR PICNIC AREA SAND/BEACH ACCESS TO HOTEL ONLY VERY HILLY SITE FOR OLDER LEGS NO MINIBAR - fridge only, water supplied daily NO SLIPPERS IN OUR ROOM. PhiPhi is a wonderful beautiful Island so next time would stay elsewhere

Nice bungalow with balcony, bathroom could do with an upgrade. Location isn’t bad but it is quite far from the main pier and you have to walk along the sand for part of it and it is very dark at night time. Also a very steep walk up to the bungalows from main reception so not good for people with mobility issues. Apart from that it was all nice.

At check in they could not find my Expedia reservation which was kind of scary. I had booked a garden view room in the premier section. I apparently was upgrade because I received an ocean view room right above the beach at the far end. It was a similar room but the view was really nice. The biggest complaint was that the property is very large and walking to my room from reception was 10-15 minutes alone down the up and down paths. And then to wk into town was another 20 mins so I got lots of steps in each day I was there! If you have mobility issues do not stay here. The resort itself is kept up pretty well. The cleaning staff does a mediocre job in the room, having only half cleaned it most days, missing changing towels, or coffee, or tp etc. but not a huge deal. The included breakfast was excellent I did not use the pool as yes it does need tile repair. It appeared clean but the water seemed low in the pool and it didn’t really look appealing. Now the biggest concern I read in reviews were the hot water, and cleanliness of sheets and towels etc. I did not have any problems with the hot water in the unit. In fact it was so hot that I had to be careful as you could badly burn yourself - it will come out boiling hot. The bedsheets were perfectly white and clean and the towels were good quality and clean. Overall, nice stay. Would I stay again? Location a bit far from town but definitely a beautiful location and needs some updates to pool and some things.

Was a very nice place with beanbags on the beach free to use during your stay. Breakfast had a decent selection. Staff was very friendly!

Liked overall but only gave 3 stars: their site says they take credit cards but in reality only for room. Everything else is cash only. including $1000 baht key deposit. Also, most bungalows are up steep incline. It was too much for me but they did put me in a lower room. Also, click on instructions on the hotel page and note that if you need a water taxi you have to reserve several days in advance. Otherwise you walk. No vehicles on the island. I found it on googe maps and walked. Not awful but was super hot and sweaty when I got there. Breakfast buffet avg to below avg. But they are generous with bottled water and have coffee pkts in your room. Nice location if you don't mind walking. A bit miffed when I checked out and they told me I had to wait while they inspected room.

Die Bettwäsche war schmutzig und im Bett waren Bettwanzen. Wir hatten nach 3 Nächten rund 40 typische dreier Bissstellen. Wir dachten zunächst an Stiche der unzähligen Mosquitos, die mit dem elektrischen Tennisschläger bekämpft werden können, aber es waren Bettwanzen sehr ärgerlich und schmerzhaft!

O quarto do hotel é muito bom. Cafe da manha com linha super simples é precario. O hotel em si é bom, com uma vista incrível da ilha de phi phi. Porem perto não tem muita coisa, muito afastado do centro. Nao estava na descrição que tem que andar uns 200m na areia pra chegar no hotel.

Our room had a fmgreat view of the ocean. To walk to the hotel, you have to walk a little bit over the sandy beach. The hotel has transpiby boat to get your luggage to and from the pier. The staff were nice, and luckily our room did not have any mosquitoes. However yhe island is full of mosquitoes and the are sizeable monsters! We loved our stay at Bayview!

Lets say the only good thing about the hotel is the view. A lot of mosquitos , the shower have rust , the bed is not comfortable and its very far from the center , you have to walk about 13 minutes till you get to the beggining of the center . Reception does not have a phone , you have to whatsapp them and they dont response immediatly. And when you come back late to the room there is no light.

An old property and many areas are run down. It’s situated in a quiet corner of the island and has a nice little beach by the lobby and lounge area. Many rooms also have a nice beach view. The downside is that the property really need some renovation as many rooms and areas are falling apart. It was built almost 40 years ago and was once premiere hotel on Ko Phi Phi. But the years have worn it down. Unless you can get this hotel at a deep discount, it’s probably better to book another room elsewhere.

One thing that I want to point out is the poor communication skills of the hotel staff. Basic things are quite difficult to convey. I believe the management of the hotel should train its employees in basic English. The other thing is that this a wooded area and the population of mosquitoes is extremely high.
