'There is couple options on the resort but expect to pay little more than going off the resort.
We liked that there was luau on the resort. Also there separate pools where the children can enjoy and pool that was adult only.

'The property and location were amazing! We had the best time! The buffet was a bit chaotic and the pool staff were incredible but understaffed. The only down side was the house keeping rarely came. We have a baby and so having the room cleaned and garbage taken out would have been helpful. We loved the location and will be back again! '

The bed sheets are smooth and comfortable and one of the best snorkeling bays of the big island (two steps) is about a mile away. They also have snorkeling gear. The hotel is within walking distance of the town which is useful for finding food, drinks and other small shopping.
Main issue we had was that the big trucks driving past can be quite loud if you are on that side of the hotel. The AC was also very loud and right above the bed, it also turned on and off every few minutes throughout the night so if you are sensitive to sound this might be nice to know.
In general I would recommend this hotel if you can get a good deal on the price. It is quite nice for a 3* hotel.
