'The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and professional. One thing I found inconvenient was that they don't provide complimentary water, so if you want drinking water, you have to use a water dispenser in the lobby.'

'Amazing old school Japanese hotel. Built by a railroad company almost a 100 years ago; the train you take there was built to get to this hotel. Artwork from the 1600’s on display. Staff shook my hand when I checked out. Even had beautiful stationery in the room; your iPhone spellcheck doesn’t even recognize that word anymore'

'The resort is surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful - perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. The owner was very kind and even offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, and he also took me to visit the old town, Narai-juku.

'We had a lovely stay at the property. Kimmi was extremely attentive. Dietary requirements were catered for with the host going above and beyond.
The property is very quiet, there is only one property for overnight stays. Therefore you will be the only guests at the property.'
