The staff of the house are warm, inviting, and exceptionally professional. We loved the location along the water - close access for beach walks and shopping, yet plenty of quiet and privacy while still steps away from activity. 'We had a lovely 9 day stay at the one way house. The house is simply stunning and very well maintained and clean. Michael- the chef- made us beautiful breakfasts and dinners. It’s impossible to choose a favorite dish but his curries are world class and biryani a MUST have. Paul helped us navigate Lamu. He is the man about about town. 'Quiet and serene location. A stroll on the beach was very therapeutic. The team at the Villa reached out to us while we were still enroute, very reassuring indeed. The restaurant with in the premises was responsive to our requests. The stay was enjoyable and the location very convenient for us.'

'When I booked the property, I was given the impression that I was booking a 3 bedroom property, only to arrive to 2 bedrooms. The villa had not been cleaned when we arrived which was at 10pm. We found the previous guest had forgotten several items inside, surfaces were dusty, and the fan in the living room was not working. 'beautiful place to stay! we got an upgrade to a room with sea view since there were little people in the hotel at that time. This room was supernice. The staff was also very nice and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good - good coffee, eggs, pancakes, juices,...
