'The staff was impeccable, the room was lovely and peaceful, the food was phenomenal. I felt like a queen here. Gardens and onsen are top notch. Service was perfect. I cannot wait to return!!'

'Nice staff, great restaurant on site and great location. The hotel is a little dated but very clean and well maintained'

Out of my 10-day trip across Japan, this place remains one of my favorite memories.'

'Really the trip was spoiled from the first moment by poor management. I arrived around 2pm, was checked in and told my room was ready, but per hotel policy I would have to wait until 3pm to enter. From about 2:30 I noticed a group of women in kimonos lined up straight like soldiers and forced to stand there until close to 3pm, when it became their job to take me to my room.
