'Best experience here. Compare to Yufuin which one of popular places for tourists, Yunohira is minor spot but good vibe, quiet, calm and peaceful. Few private Hot Springs in the facility open all night, Bed room is clean and comfortable. Great staff service also best breakfast. Differently I’ll come back.'

'Roomy, self-contained cabin in the hills above Kurakawa Onsen with private spring-fed bath. Great base for exploring the Aso-Kuju region.'

'Everything about this property was breath taking from the start tell the end can’t wait to come back again'

'Beautiful location. Balcony view over the mountains. Friendly staff, useful amenities in common area.'

'Lovely place up in the hills'

'For our first time experiencing a Ryokan Onsen as a family of 4, we wanted to experience one of the best in Kurokawa. And Gekkoju does not disappoint! The room was beautiful and spacious with a lot included. The staff helping us was super friendly and accommodating. The service and food was amazing. The indoor and outdoor onsen that is private to our room was fantastic and personally we thought it was much better than hiking up to go to the prebooked outdoor sky terrace onsen, especially at...

'Good'

'The house was prefect! The view from the house is magnificent! Check-in went smoothly. Host is helpful. I asked many questions before arrival to the house. Location is great for us, nice and quiet, but not too far from supermarket and tourist attractions (less than 5mins drive to Yunotsubo Street) . The place is clean and facilities are fully equipped. One downside - we thought we could bbq because there is an outdoor bbq place but actually it’s prohibited. My kids loved the house, so we will...

'If you are travelling to Yufuin, Hotel MODA is a must stay. This hotel is immaculate, with attentive staff. I definitely recommend adding the dinner at the hotel to your stay, it was one of the best meals that we had in Japan and the outdoor private Onsen was amazing!'

'I had a wonderful stay at Yufuin Sansuikan and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yufuin. The location is very convenient—just about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the station, making it easy to get around even with luggage. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. I especially appreciated the peaceful surroundings, which made it a great place to unwind. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would...

'Small BnB ran by one (two?) old ladies. Decent value for money at the expensive Yufuin region. Suitable for travellers that drive up. Dinner was fantastic for the price. Grill meat set dinner with decent portion of marbled beef. Rooms are well maintained and reasonably clean... obviously its in the countryside so you can expect some beetles, etc if you don't shut the window fully.'
