This five-star chalet for eight people in La Clusaz is also in a five-star location - it's just a short walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants of La Clusaz, and in winter, you can ski straight down the Beauregard piste!

The fabulous view over the mountains and the village must be one of the best in the area, and with the ski bus stopping just 150m away and the main bus station 1km away, it's easy to explore this beautiful area without a car.

Summer or winter, there is so much to do in La Clusaz and the surrounding villages, and Chalet Timan is a great place to start.
Set over three floors, there is plenty of room for eight people at Chalet Timan.

The main living area is on the first floor - the large, high-ceilinged seating area has cosy sofas and a wall of windows which makes the most of the wonderful mountain light as well as the stunning view over the village. There are two dining areas and a fully-fitted kitchen that makes cooking a delight.

There are also three bedrooms on this floor: a twin room and a double room each with en suite shower rooms and a large double with an en suite bathroom.

The fourth bedroom - a double with an en suite shower room and separate toilet - is on the second floor, perfect for those who enjoy their privacy!

The spa and fitness area is on the ground floor - tackle the treadmill or the exercise bike, enjoy a game of table football or just relax in the sauna! The laundry is also on this floor, and there is access to the double garage, which has plenty of room to store all your outdoor gear.

The sunny terrace wraps around two sides of the chalet, so it's easy to find a sunny spot for your lounger. There's also a seating area, a barbecue and a large dining table where you can eat out on long summer evenings.

ABOUT THE AREA ...

When you stay at Chalet Timan you’re perfectly placed to explore the whole of the La Clusaz/Le Grand Bornand area and the Aravis mountains, which are a great year-round destination.

In winter, you can ski straight into the village and with your Aravis ski pass, you have access to 220km of pistes and 95 lifts, so you will never be short of somewhere new to explore. There’s great terrain for cross-country skiers at the nearby Confins and Beauregard plateaus.

Non-skiers will have no time to be bored, with an ice-skating rink and cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the village’s heated outdoor pool, while the snow falls gently around you.

There's just as much going on in the summer, and Chalet Timan's position on the edge of La Clusaz means you won’t need a car to enjoy everything the mountains have to offer.

Hike into the Col des Aravis, or let the telecabine ferry you and your bike to the top, so you can come back down at your own pace. Other activities available in the area include horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding. The mountains around La Clusaz are criss-crossed with tracks and paths, so there is somewhere new to discover.

The beautiful lakeside town of Annecy is just 30 minutes away by car, and is a great destination for a day out. The lake is said to be the cleanest in Europe and in the summer it’s a lovely place for water sports, cycling, swimming or you can just hire a boat and explore the lakeside beaches.

If you just want to relax, why not soak up the sun on the sunny terrace at Chalet Timan, or catch up with friends and family over a barbecue, as the sun sets behind the mountains.

Please note that a new chalet has been built in front of Chalet Timan during this past year. The new chalet doesn't affect the view. IMPORTANT : the "plancha" and outdoor furniture are available from beginning of May until the end of the French "Toussaint" holiday.
