The staff was rather cold and aloof, not very helpful and poor customer service. When we sat down to eat we waited for about 20 minutes with no service before moving to a different location. Even then it took a very long time to get our food... The server at the second location did his best but didn't have enough help. Overall it took a little more than two hours from start to finish when we first sat down to when we finished our meal. By then their pools were only open for about fifteen more minutes before closing at 9:30. The hallways are open so as soon as you step of of your room you're hit with heat and humidity like a slap in the face. The outdoor showers were so full of dirt and sand it was impossible to have clean feet to walk back to the room causing us to have a lot of sand in our room. We had to "borrow" a broom and dustpan from a cleaning cart left out because there was no one else around. There's nothing nearby for late night food runs other than a vending machine. Check out is early...11:00am, giving you little time to enjoy the beach. You also overpay for the same typical breakfast you can get anywhere (beans and eggs). We chose this location b/c of a YouTube video but it's NOT worth wasting your time and money with it. I'd also strongly recommend that as a tourist resort it would help if someone on staff was bilingual or at least had a hand held translating device. When I couldn't understand what the staff was saying they gave up and walked away.
