It went through an extensive renovation in 2024. High-quality materials, marble cement floors and carefully selected antique furniture, mixed with selected modern elements, convey the classic charm of the old world, complemented by the best modern amenities. Yet despite this countryside feeling, it’s just 2 km to La Spezia town, the gateway to the Cinque Terre National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Whether visiting by car, boat, train or following one of the many trails by foot, this area offers undulating scenery of olive groves, pine forests, vineyards, rocky shores and of course the five famous historic villages with the most spectacular views. The Golfo dei Poeti is also waiting to be explored, a region which has inspired many artists and writers over the years including Byron and Shelley.
