Camp Manitou Outpost is located on its own private island on the stretch of Lower Manitou, 15 km from the Esox Landing.
The island has six cabins. Two of the cabins have full kitchen and living spaces, modern plumbing full electrical power, with the others serving as sleeping cabins.
Sitting at the heart of it all is the Pavillion. The Pavilion is filled with outdoor seating and eating spaces, with an outdoor cooking and BBQ area and the host of a historical fireplace built out of local amethyst and quartz rock collected from the Manitou.
Our Outpost is powered by solar and helped by a generator when needed, meaning guests can charge their electronics and have lights at all times during the day. Hot water is always available with an on demand system and guests can have access to WIFI to stay in touch with friends, families or business at home, or to brag about their catches of the day. There are two large docks located on opposite sides of the island, allowing for ample parking space and your choice of parking depending on the wind.
There are spots for your recycling and garbage to be separated and stored at the end of your trip.
