Prices in this area seem high, particularly for the off season, but this home was one of the most affordable of those available during the timeframe I needed. Furnishings, bedding, towels, etc. are adequate but of lower quality than most vacation rentals we have stayed in. For an in-season stay where 90% of your time will be spent outdoors, this place would serve its purpose well, but a few upgrades could make it more comfortable....

'Planned a girls weekend here. We wanted a place we could relax, hang out, hot tub, cook. This place had a kitchen but was not well equipped. Drawers missing handles, not fully stocked with utensils for cooking.Found mouse droppings on top of microwave and underneath microwave as soon as I walked in the kitchen. No dish towels. Had to use bath towels to dry dishes. No hot water and no water pressure..it trickled out of the faucet. There was a leak in the laundry room..a pipe was leaking hot water...

'We had a wonderful short stay here. Very quiet and clean. There are plenty of windows so there's a lot of fresh air to be had and the view of the lake every day is amazing. The tavern is cozy, friendly locals, our host Brenda was very nice and accommodating. '
