'Check in got less then perfect bc the hotel isn’t staffed 24/7 which caused a little stress. But the staff was great and made a plan for us in case our train was late (it was). Fortunately the manager was still here when we arrived. Great staff, great room, AC!!!, and really comfy bed. Would definitely stay again!! (Note I dinged them on price - but price was pretty comparable to all hotels iirc - so maybe the ding was more about hotels in general vs this one specifically).'

'The hotel is located in a nice and quiet part of the city and still just a 15 minute walk away from all the major spots. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Sarah is an absolute sweetheart that effortlessly reminds you of what great hospitality looks like. The valet parking service is great too, in case you are traveling by car. Overall: would highly recommend!'

'This is a gem in busy Florence. Situated so central, in the middle of all, yet not too busy. The staff is cozy and not an automatic pilot reception but genuine service that enjoy their work. We chose the Junior suite, which was such a spacious room having high ceilings and a (sleeping) couch to sit on. Even though the room was in the front, it was silent as soon as we closed the double windows/shutters. A supermarket is right across and so are great restaurants. The breakfast was great with...

Breakfast is absolutely worth it- 12 euros/person (fresh fruit, pancakes, waffles, croissants, eggs and bacon, all kinds of coffee beverages freshly made, included with buffet. Great central location- you can see the Duomo! Also, less than 5 minute walk to Accademia (Statue of David). Ponte vecchio bridge is approximately 10 min walk. Relatively easy to catch a taxi- within a five minute walk of square, simply hail a cab....
