Strandhotels in Lagen Island

'Het was een adembenemend resort, prachtig een uitzicht, mooie kamers, een kleine gym waar je prima je workouts kon doen. Er zijn 2 restaurants op het resort helaas is de keuze erg beperkt en is de dagkaart een kaart dat ze de 5 dagen dat we daar waren ook aan hielden. Dat was het enige minpunt. Staff was super vriendelijk en je kon elke dag gratis verschillende excursies doen. Het hotel samen met de plek en de excursies was het echt het allermooiste plekje waar ik ooit ben geweest.'

'One of the best getaways ! And this property and staff made it happen. Gorgeous views and such a perfect location that every minute of the day came with its own new look. People at the property and in general all Phillipino people are so warm and welcoming . Norvin , Dorito, Mee choo at reception were great but every one ( and there were lots of staff ) is were great. Only feedback is they should not charge for tea bags especially when stay is long and in room amenities don’t have enough bags...

'Resort is a steep 400m up a hill to reception and a further distance uphill to some of the villas. We were lucky to stay in Studio 2. Our room was beautiful and not many steps to the restaurant or pool. Staff were very nice and accommodating and have a free shuttle into and from town. If you don’t have general fitness I recommend you contact the resort when booking accommodation.'

'We stayed five nights at Charlie’s El Nido. We had fairly high expectations, as this was one of the most expensive hotels we booked during our six month trip through Southeast Asia (around $100 per night). Unfortunately, the experience ended up being quite disappointing. We booked a standard room and were placed on a basement floor. That wouldn’t have been a big issue, but it was quite a long walk with luggage and there is no elevator. The room itself was extremely small, with barely any space...
