Villa met privézwembad, tennisbaan en uitzicht op zee

Deze mooie en ruime villa van 300 vierkante meter ligt op een groot perceel aan de kust. Alle belangrijkste kamers in de villa zijn ruim en licht en bieden uitzicht op zee. De woonkamer, eetkamer, keuken en slaapkamer 1 komen allemaal uit op het terras bij het zwembad. Slaapkamer 2, op de eerste verdieping, heeft een eigen balkon met een prachtig uitzicht over het terras, de tuinen en de oceaan. De eigenschap profiteert van directe toegang tot het klif pad door zijn prachtige volgroeide tuinen, met uitgestrekte uitzichten langs de kust helemaal van Ponte da Piedade in het oosten tot Sagres in het westen.

We have just had two fabulous weeks at this beautiful villa. The gardens were even better than the description on Vrbo website! Can't really find any faults with the villa or location and definitely planning to return in the future. A real gem within Praia da Luz!

Bigger and better than on the pictures

We had a lovely stay at this great villa held in local design. Many neat places in the huge garden to relax, a big warm pool, a functional kitchen with a big fridge, quite rooms and a modern tennis court (concrete floor). Praia da Luz and Burgau are both nearby in a 5-10‘ ride or a 30-45‘ walk. The landlord is communicating professionally, reacts quickly and even fulfilled a wish on short notice. We hope to come back anytime soon.

Incredible compound, perfect location

The property is even better than the pictures! The location is perfectly central to daytrip and visit beaches on either side of the coast. The property is well maintained and clean. David, the host was prompt to address any issues or concerns. We had a private chef come and cook for the group, and I can also not recommend that enough. So fantastic. I would 100% stay here again and would recommend the property to anyone. Perfect for sunrises over the ocean. The grounds and trails were stunning. Simply a blissful week. Thank you David!

A wonderful family holiday villa!

We just got back from a two week stay and what a fabulous villa. The location is ideal for Burgau and Luz beaches and restaurants, and access to the cliffs for waking directly from the gardens is brilliant. The views are utterly spectacular from everywhere in the garden and villa - we never got tired of looking out to sea. The photos don’t do the grounds justice - we spent most of our time relaxing and making the most of the amazing sea views and beautiful gardens. The pool was wonderful - absolutely huge and the kids had such a brilliant time swimming all day every day. Incredibly spacious, clean and well stocked, there were plenty of places for everyone inside and out for our party of 8. We had a truly fabulous holiday and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you!

A property that is second to none

The property has a view that is simply breathtaking. The house accommodated my wife, my two sons and my daughter in law. 4 nice bedrooms, two master suites. Extremely well stocked kitchen. Great proximity to Luz and Lagos. We must have hit the market in Luz 4 times. So very convenient. David is super responsive. My only constructive criticism is have more than 2 beach chairs , 5 beach towels and refresh the tennis rackets and add some new tennis balls.

Fantastic location, gardens and setting with very comfortable villa amenities

We stayed in David’s villa for a week over summer. It was a fantastic experience. The location and extensive gardens were glorious - very private and truly meant we could get away from it all. The villa more than met our requirements. Spacious bedrooms and communal areas with traditional furnishings that matched the character of the house. The house is very well set up with extensive kitchen facilities, lots of spaces to dine as well as lounge and the kids made use of a varied toy box, ping ping and tennis area (although spent most of the day in the pool). That’s said you aren’t too far away from it all and local shops and restaurants are easily accessed (even on foot). We would thoroughly recommend the villa to others looking for an idyllic setting away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the Algarve.

The house and pool are great and gardens and views simply spectacular!

My family had an absolutely fantastic time at this property. We were a 3 generation group of 6 with set of grand parents, parents and 2 very active boys. David was terrific and gave us great info on local towns, beaches and restaurants. The house and pool were super clean when we arrived and kept clean by great staff. Tennis court was amazing, great condition and one of the best views of any I could ever imagine. The location is also terrific, very close (like 5 mins) to two great small towns with beaches and then Lagos only 10 mins away, which we really enjoyed. Also - location is great jumping off point to explore all of the central and western Algarve beaches. We loved every minute of our 8 night stay and would recommend very highly.

An unbelievable place to stay!

We had an amazing stay at Cama da Vaca and thoroughly recommend the villa! The house is completely secluded but with easy access to Burgau and Luz. We really enjoyed the pool and tennis court but also recommend people take time to explore the beautiful surfing beaches on the west coast, which are within easy distance. The owner was very helpful in organising our stay - thank you David!

Absolutely fantastic

A stunning villa, beautiful inside and out, and the view is just brilliant. Very peaceful, but only a very short drive into Burgau and Luz, or a lovely walk along the cliffs to either. We got married in the garden, and it was a magnificent day. Great organisation from owner and agent as well, and the maid was also great.

Perfect for those who love the unspoilt Algarve

This really is a very beautiful gem where the glowing reviews are fully justified. We have just returned from a week at Cama da Vaca and are already planning our next visit. We were a group of 11 who have been visiting the Algarve for many years and were unanimous that this is by far the loveliest place we have stayed. To start with, the view is breath taking (I would frequently spot one of the group, even the children, just gazing off into the distance). The gardens are a delightful maze of paths and tranquil vantage points from which to enjoy the views. The house itself, emerges from these gardens with a rare rustic charm. Inside is light and spacious, with a wonderfully vibrant use of colour that links the inside to the wonderful outside blues and turquoises of the sea and sky and pool. Everything is beautifully presented from the crisp linens, to the fresh bathrooms, even down to the detail of the artwork on the walls. For the more energetic in our group, the tennis court was a big hit (pardon the pun). There will be very few tennis courts that can rival the view. This is a fantastic location from which to explore the Western Algarve. Even though the house feels private and secluded, it is only a short drive to supermarkets and the glorious beaches (Zaviel is our family favourite). David and his family have created something very special at Cama da Vaca that we fell in love with and hope to return to soon.

Idyllic setting breathtaking views

2 heavenly weeks The gardens are sculptured into the hillside with a gate onto the cliff path. Inside the house the spacious rooms are beautifully furnished. There are exciting hidden seating areas in and outside I was most impressed with the traditional Portuguese pottery in plain and decorated terra cotta in use alongside the modern. How trusting. Fantastische villa voor een familievakantie

Prachtig huis, mooi, gezellig en stijlvol ingericht. In het huis zelf zijn 4 slaapkamers waarvan 2 groot en luxe zijn. De cottage is een prima aanvulling als je met meer dan 8 personen bent. Prachtige tuin met diverse zitjes, zwembad met ligstoelen. Wij waren met een familie van 10 volwassenen en 3 kleine kinderen. Iedereen kon prima z'n plek vinden. Elke dag is er voor 4 uur een huishoudster die schoonmaakt en wast. We hebben een topvakantie gehad. Dit huis is een absolute aanrader.

Fantastic place, great owner... lovely holiday!

We went there as a multiple family group with toddlers and it was great. The house is magical, with a tennis court and table tennis table for the adults... lovely grounds... and toys for the kids. Pool was wonderful with a really good fence that could be put around it to stop the kids from falling in when it wasn't in use. Grounds are magical. Plenty of little hide-aways where you can grab some time alone. Fully kitted out. One word... great! Would highly recommend. Peter

Stunning !

This Villa is stunning! On arrival you are greeted with the most fantastic sea-view. The Villa is spacious, light & airy with pretty pastel furnishings, attention to detail from the White Company Linens & towels to the Molton Brown soap & pieces of the owners own artwork, everything about this Villa has been well thought out & lovingly cared for. The Villa has extensive gardens leading down to the coastal path. We travelled with our older teenage children who loved having so much space . Having the separate cottage is also fantastic as this allows extra large groups to stay in one place, yet giving space & privacy. The Owner has a local managing agent & it was so nice to receive a call from them to check we were okay & if we needed anything, very important when renting privately . We will definitely be staying here again .

Fabulous villa for a relaxing holiday

Having returned to this villa for the second time, we were if anything even more thrilled with our holiday. The villa is spacious for three families with adult children, the pool is wonderful and the gardens are developing by the year. The table tennis and tennis court keep everyone occupied. We had to pinch ourselves again when we stepped out directly on to the coastal path to walk out to Burgau or Luz for breakfast. The owner, David, and the local management company are very helpful, and the lady who helps at the villa made our stay especially relaxing. We look forward to our next visit.

Superbe villa avec magnifique vue sur mer

Quelle magnifique villa ! Quelle superbe vue ! Nous avons passé deux semaines très agréables et très reposantes dans cette belle demeure, profitant à chaque instant d'une vue imprenable sur la mer. La villa est particulièrement spacieuse; tout est parfaitement entretenu, de la maison jusqu'au jardin si agréable, en passant par le terrain de tennis. C'est avec un pincement au coeur que nous en sommes repartis, et rêvons déjà de pouvoir y séjourner de nouveau. Idéal pour des vacances en famille (2 ou 3 familles avec la maison annexe), avec des enfants de tous âges. Et croyez-moi, la réalité est encore plus belle que sur les photos.

Holiday heaven

This was the perfect villa to accommodate 4 couples as we each had a wonderful room and our own bathroom. This area of the Algarve is delightful - places to visit, beautiful beaches and coastline, yet still quiet and unspoilt. We had an early flight and were therefore welcomed by Adelia, who keeps the villa pristine. She prepared a delicious roast chicken and salad meal for us and we were able to settle down to the hard work of relaxing by the gorgeous pool. There was no rush to get the best sun beds as we were spoilt for choice. When it became too hot in the sun there were plenty of shady places in the gardens to read, while sipping a cool drink. We chose to go out to local restaurants in Bergau, Praia da Luz and Lagos at lunchtime and enjoyed lazy BBQs and dinners in the evening. The villa provided every piece of china, cutlery and glassware that you could possibly need. The apricots from the tree in the courtyard fresh each morning were the most delicious we have ever tasted. We could not fault anything and this is the best villa we have found in the 20 years that we have all been going on holiday together.
