The place was immaculate, the breakfast excellent (and the food area was well designed for flow which is NEVER the case at other hotels I stayed at with breakfast. 'Although they were renovating areas of the hotel, my room (which was recently renovated) was lovely. The bed was very comfortable, the walk in shower was easy to access, and I loved the Dove products. The staff very friendly and there were a variety of choices for breakfast. I would recommend to friends and family. '

'Was in the area for Savage Race have stayed here 2 times before at first it wasn't available and I was booked at another hotel, but when it became available I canceled the other to go here. There's a Wawa no matter which way you turn out of the hotel and you feel safe where the hotel is located and it has a well lit parking lot.'

AC in the room felt a little weak but wasn't a big deal since it wasn’t too hot outside at the time of my stay. Some bar soap is provided but no shampoo. Be aware that there is no fridge or microwave in the room. WiFi is also not available and the cell service is a bit spotty. Not a huge deal but worth being aware of. '

'Although not a fancy 5 star hotel, the Fern Ridge was a very pleasant surprise! We had expected the lower rate to mean a small room without much comfort, but found the friendliness of the staff to go above and beyond what one would receive at ANY rated hotel. Jackie introduced herself as the housekeeper and was very kind to note she would accommodate anything we needed, their restaurant served reasonably priced meals, and located only moments from the Pocono Speedway.
