We do have 2 sets of measuring cups, 1 set of measuring spoons and a one Pyrex cup. They are in the second drawer to the left of the sink. We also have a set of 6 sharp (I just sharpened them) knives of different sizes, in a cutlery wood block on the granite counter top. Thank you for the review of your stay, Chris. We have a new Italian leather couch with several designer pillows. It is a little deeper than some, so future guests might want to use one of those pillows behind them to get the optimum sitting position. We do have a new Ecobee digital thermostat to go along with our central heating and new central air. It works similar to an iPhone – touch to chose heat or cool, then touch and drag to get to the temperature that you want. In regards to TP, will have our housekeeper always leave 3 rolls, instead of 2. Also, we are always available - just a phone call away to resolve any issue that our guest might have. Don’t hesitate to give us a call.

We are glad that Rick found our Hershey Cabin to be an “Immaculate, stylish cabin and wonderful getaway”. We apologize to him for any issues he had. In response to Rick’s comments: To avoid any surprises, for the past 2 years our Keurig coffee maker has been listed under amenities on our site, and in the emails that we send to all of our customers prior to arrival. The email details the quantity and type of items we provide in our welcome basket such as 4 regular and 2 decaf coffee pods, tea, energy bars, creamers and chocolates, etc. We will increase the number of coffee pods we provide going forward. No, we don’t have stickers everywhere, but we have small, neat labels just where necessary to avoid customers having questions or problems. Our paved parking area holds 2 cars and is quite spacious (as you can see in one of our pictures). I do a 4-point turnaround with the mid-size SUV pictured all the time. Also, Lake Dr. is not a one-way street. The neighborhood is usually quiet, but on occasion there may be noise. We have put in dual pane windows, insulated the walls, floors and ceilings, and installed central air and heat, so any noise should be at a minimum. With 340 Five Star reviews, we are the number one VRBO listing in Lake Arrowhead.

Our cottage is, as mentioned, very clean, in fact it is immaculate! The pretty cottage is located in a beautiful, quiet canyon and is secluded on a 1/2 acre parcel that is forested with old growth firs, cedars and pines.

As Elizabeth mentioned, our cabin is an "extremely well kept property"! It gives you the feeling of being in a cabin built a hundred years ago, but with all of the conveniences of a modern home. Book the Historic Hershey Cabin for some real R&R!
