'I lived in Gainesville for 30 years. It was exciting to come home and see this beautiful hotel so conveniently located in the middle of downtown with access to restaurants and shopping! This is exactly where you want to be. The rooms are clean, large, well appointed, and quiet.'

'this is not a chateau but merely a las Vegas style facade of it. Rooms are ok but lacked a 2 person seating area, view was on the roof of the attrium. Food at restaurants, including breakfast, was outrageously high and what were called the refined dining venues lacked class. Tacky is the word.'

'2days after my stay my credit card was hacked and i only used my card in this hotel. It was illegally used to buy auto parts in the Gainesville area!!!!! I can't accuse anybody, but it felt very strange.'

'Pictures and hotel website are a bit deceiving. Was expecting a higher level of cleanliness and hospitality. Especially the shower curtain had hairs and even a feather in it (don't know how they managed). The carpet is grey so don't want to think about how dirty it may have been. Breakfast is basic and plastic cutlery, plates, etc only. Would not stay again.'
