'The house at Lake Lanier Islands was dated, rustic, and not very clean. For the price, I had higher expectations of this Lake House.'

'The room was comfortable and roomy. The breakfast buffet was the best variety we've had. Make your own waffle, egg/cheese taco, fried potatoes, maple sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, pastries, scones, bagels, etc, different each day. Fresh, hot oatmeal and grits with add-ins. Beautiful view from the breakfast room onto a lush wooded area. If the weather had been better, we'd have enjoyed the outdoors patio and the fire pit. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. 'It was awful. They gave us a room that was already occupied and then the front desk lady didn’t seem like she wanted to help us. We were told to wait and then everyone went through the line and she still didn’t seem like she wanted to help. I had to ask her if she was even going to help us. We literally walked into a room that they assigned to us and it was occupied then had to wait over 30 minutes to get help.'

'this is not a chateau but merely a las Vegas style facade of it. Rooms are ok but lacked a 2 person seating area, view was on the roof of the attrium. Food at restaurants, including breakfast, was outrageously high and what were called the refined dining venues lacked class. Tacky is the word.'
