The Narrows Yacht Club Cottage

The Narrows ligt in het dorp Lake Leelanau en bestaat uit een gezellig huisje met twee slaapkamers en een hoofdgebouw met een bungalow met 2 slaapkamers en een moderne loft die volledig is gerestaureerd en opgewaardeerd. Het pand biedt directe waterfront aan de Narrows of Lake Leelanau, pontonboot, vissersboot, opstaande paddleboards en kajak- / kanoverhuur. Ook verkrijgbaar zijn verkoop van scheepsbrandstoffen, bootslips, een openbare lancering, ijs en al onze geweldige merchandise. The Narrows ligt op loopafstand van alle voorzieningen van het dorp. Gelegen in het hart van Leelanau County.

Such a great stay! Very peaceful and super central on the Leelenau Peninsula so that you can easily visit all the cute towns. A lovely house, very cute. If you plan to work remotely, please note that the WiFi in the cottage wasn’t able to handle video calls, so we needed to use our hotspot from our phones instead.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was clean and cozy and easy to find. The location is great and within walking distance to many places - a big reason we choose the property. The fire pit was excellent and well stocked with wood.

Great place to stay in Leland, great location on the narrows.

We loved our stay - the property was right now the narrows with a large yard for the kids to run around. A lot of great places within walking distance for when you are not on the water. We would definitely consider staying here again!

Treasured time together

Treasured time with friends in a cozy cottage, enjoyed calmness by the water and walks to store and restaurant. We even enjoyed a night by the fire. A wonderful time just wish we could have stayed longer!

Casual Vibe in Great Location

Lots to look at on the Narrows! The cottage is fairly simple, but nice and the beds had been upgraded, which we appreciated. Use of the kayaks was appreciated and all in all, this is a good place to stay to explore the area.

This was a great place to stay! Located right on the water in the narrows. It was really nice and cozy. We walked to most of the places in Lake Leelanau. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again

Perfect location! Beautiful place to stay!

This property was a perfect get away for the weekend! So many amenities and great communication with the owners! The cottage is less than 10 min from downtown Leland and perfect for a nice getaway! Everything was clean and ready for guests! I will definitely be back!

Great place to stay. Accommodations were clean and well kept. Very quiet and private. Owners were on site and very respectful of our privacy. Across the water from the site is a wildlife sanctuary and you see lots of the wildlife it was very enjoyable. Also the location was centrally located to everything on Lake Leelanau and the northeastern side of Lake Michigan.

Great Place/Awesome Location

My family of four (plus one small dog) loved this place! The location was ideal for us traveling to the Dunes, Glen Arbor, Traverse City and more! The place was big enough for the four of us and very clean. The town was super cute and you could walk to various restaurants to eat, coffee shop and grocery store. My kids loved that there was an ice cream place literally next door. We had a great time!

An absolutely wonderful place to rest before or after a day of touring. The property is updated inside and out. The beds were comfy and clean, the kitchen was well stocked and clean, and the bathroom was also clean. There is new beautiful decking, nice outdoor waterside seating, and a great firepit we cooked over. The small town of Lake Leelanau was having a festival while we were there and their small eateries were very tasty. You will not regret a stay here!

Nice, but not for those with pet allergies

We had a great and comfortable stay at this cottage. But upon arrival we were immediately hit with the smell of an animal house and my husband and I suffered from allergies the whole time we were in the cottage (the symptoms would get better as soon as we left). We knew this was a dog friendly property but the listing says “non shedding only” so we didn’t expect it to smell like wet Labrador and make us feel so sick. Just a word of caution for those who have allergies! Otherwise, it was a nice place.

Perfect location

We traveled as grandparents with three children 9 and under. The location was perfect. The kids loved having the large property to run around and play. Their favorite was fishing off the dock and walking to get ice cream every day. Sleeping was sufficient for the five of us. We did not need to try out the AC as it was a little chilly. One thing we missed was a washer and dryer. A small suggestion would be for somewhere to hang out wet towels to dry. Thank you Hilary!
