Great location and so many things to do at Rumbling Bald Resort. The highlight was the bears we saw. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are still rebuilding from the devastation of Hurricane Helene last year, so I hope more people will visit. 'This house is perfect for a week in the mountains! The only issue we encountered was an accidental water shut off by the city, but the hosts worked with us to navigate the issue and it was corrected fairly quickly! We look forward to booking this house again!'

'This was our first time visiting Lake Lure! Despite the lake having been drained and closed there was plenty to do in the Rumbling Bald Resort! We enjoyed visiting 2 out of the 3 pools during our stay. A round of mini golf, some ice cream, and dining at 3 of the on site & nearby restaurants. 'Overall great stay! Would stay again. The biggest thing to take into account is the steepness of the road and driveway getting to the house. This would be the only con in my opinion however this is the mountains and it is expected. I’m calling this out to help future guests plan and determine if they have the right vehicle depending on the season. Thank you Point of View for a wonderful stay! '
