Klassieke Tahoe-hut! 2 slaapkamers, WiFi

Een origineel Tahoe-chalet, een stap terug in de tijd met alle moderne voorzieningen die u van een vakantiehuis verwacht.

Deze charmante knoestige grenen hut beschikt over een open grote kamer met een houtkachel, nieuwe flatscreen televisie, een zeer ruime, super comfortabele bank en een nieuwe gaskachel. Dit is een geweldige plek om te ontspannen na een lange dag skiën of spelen op het strand, afhankelijk van het seizoen.

Gelegen in een zeer rustige buurt maar met gemakkelijke toegang die heel South Lake Tahoe te bieden heeft: Heavenly Ski Resort, stranden, varen, winkelen, dineren, gamen en het nachtleven van Tahoe.

De voorkant van het huis begint met een ruim voordek, er is ook een kleine veranda aan de zijkant van het huis. U komt de grote kamer binnen met originele grenen lambrisering. Er is een efficiënte keuken, complete badkamer, slaapkamer en wasruimte.

De slaapkamer beneden heeft een queensize slaapkamer met een hoofdeinde van het originele Harvey's Casino. Er is ook een dagbed als je kinderen bij je hebt. De slaapkamer op de bovenverdieping heeft een queensize bed, een tweepersoonsbed en een tweeling.

Loved the location to all of the attractions. The house was a good size for our family. Loved it was pet friendly and had no pet odors. However we felt that it would benefit from a “Deep” cleaning. There were cobwebs in the ceilings and in the loft area. The kitchen potholders were not clean and I had to wash them. We did love the bbq. Would recommend going through all of the pots and pans and keeping the nice ones with lids. Also a clean cookie sheet would have been nice.Overall we did enjoy it and would stay again.

We were in town for a wedding and wanted to stay someplace other than a hotel. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. The property itself was pretty much as listed, although could use some minor updates. The ceiling/rafters were still rather dusty and full of cobwebs and the bedding could be replaced/refreshed. Also, maybe replace the tons of tiny mugs with some regular sized coffee mugs? We had a good laugh about the teeny tiny cups. For our needs, it was a good place to stay.

Location was great and as others have stated it was within 10 minutes from everything. The lighting, appliances, and decor could really use some updates. It was rather dark in the cabin. The beds were comfortable.

Pros: Great location, 10 minutes from everything. Neighborhood felt safe, could easily walk around and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The cabin itself was quaint and for the price point per night it was one of the more reasonable cabins in the same area. Cons: Definitely can feel the age of the decor, feel like the bones of the cabin were good and with just a bit of an interior upgrade (electronics, furniture) it would really be a gem! Even though the cabin itself was clean it felt a bit chaotic inside, and it was hard to feel comfortable. Overall, it was a cute cabin and price point is reasonable but not sure if I’d come back.

Excellent Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was clean and very close to all the areas we needed to visit for the Husky in the Snow Meetup. The Bijou dig park was minutes away, Kiva Lake and Nevada Beach was a 15-20 minute drive. Neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors across the street were super nice! We definitely come and stay here again.

Cute rustic place, location was great. It definitely needed newer cooking utensils, pots and pans, no toaster, no cutting board. The coffee maker is not working properly. Need Bigger coffee mugs too. Refrigerator was too cold it was almost freezing our vegetables and drinks. We made do with what was there. The bed was comfortable. The couch was not comfortable. The water nozzle in the bathtub is very loose.

A Short Getaway

I took a short solo trip to South Tahoe with my dog. This cabin was perfect for my needs. Cute and in a nice little neighborhood. I did have trouble with the heater upon arrival but the management co. had someone there in about 1/2 hour to get it running.

Great South Lake Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this South Lake cabin. It offered great value in comparison to similar listings. Nice, quiet neighborhood. The house was larger than expected, with plenty of room. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck with morning coffee. Great location with easy access to all of South Lake Tahoe attractions.

Best little cabin EVER!

My family sold the cabin that was built in 1946 and so this was my first year coming to Tahoe in the summer, renting a cabin. I searched for a cozy cabin with the same knotty pine and history as my old cabin and this place didn't disappoint! It is so pretty from the outside and so perfect for a family on the inside. My 3 kids slept comfortably up top with PLENTY of room for all their stuff (there are even 3 dressers up there!) And my husband and I slept downstairs. It was just the best experience. We loved it so much and are so very grateful that the owners rent this special place for others to enjoy. We will be back for sure!

Cute cabin in a good location of South Lake Tahoe. We had a wonderful time at this cabin — it was rustic yet equipped with everything we needed. If someone is wanting seclusion in the woods, this might not be the best option (it’s in a neighborhood with other houses/cabins nearby), but it’s a great location for all that South Lake Tahoe offers. And it’s pet friendly! My family is definitely going to come back again. We loved it.

Rustic charm

Outside of cabin is nicer than picture in photo, we loved the American flag being represented. The inside was a lot bigger than we expected. There's a mix of antique and updated features. There was everything in the kitchen you would need if you were to cook meals. We had a bbq on the patio and there was propane as well as utensils to use. It's an older style cabin, not super fancy or modern, but that was it's charm. We loved the wood burning fireplace in the living room, our kids made s'mores and slept downstairs on the huge wrap around couch to enjoy the fire. We had a great experience and hope to go back next year. We would definitely stay at this cabin again.

I do not recommend this property

If you are looking for 4 walls and a roof, this is the property for you. There are some good things and bad with this cabin. The booking process was easy and the property manager was good with communication and we were granted a 2- hour early check in, so that was appreciated. The cabin is in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The cabin is extremely dated. The floors are in dire need of replacing, please bring house slippers. There were a few live termites inside the house. The couch and carpeting in the bedroom are stained and look pretty bad. The main bedroom mattress is old and very uncomfortable. If you are simply looking for a place to sleep, then this place might be okay, but it would be much cheaper to stay in a lodge or hotel. We will not be back. Sorry.

Overall the stay was enjoyable. The management company was very accessible. However, the house cleaners need more supervision. We found two rib bones(from a previous tenet) behind the couch and under one of the beds in the lofts. In addition there was an infestation of ants throughout the cabin. We had to wash the dishes before using them after finding ants in the cabinets. They remained prevalent throughout our stay.

Cozy little cabin

We loved staying in the Black Bart Cabin, it was a very memorable experience! Since we planned our trip in March, we planned on staying in the cabin and enjoying the warmth and the scenery of all the pines around us. But, it's nice because your only 10 minutes from town. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay, it was warm and the kitchen came stocked with all utensils, pots and pans that you'll ever need. It even snowed while we were there which made it feel like a dream! Definitely recommend this cabin to anyone planning a trip to Tahoe!

It’s just a dirty dusty never upgraded property. The shower has mold in it. Stove doesn’t work well. No dishwasher or garbage disposal. Heater is in only one spot of the house and it’s right next to the kitchen table. So you are either cold in the back or blasted with heat while you eat diner. Floors were sticky. Sit on the couch and watch the dust fly up. I just felt gross staying there. My first time using vrbo. Actually surprised they allow properties like this to be listed on the site. I’m not someone who writes reviews but it’s like come on. I’ll think twice before doing vrbo again.
