'We stayed in a cabin withy ensuite, it was perfect. Nice and clean, adequate heating for the cold evenings and nights. The beds were comfy. The wee kitchen had a two hotplate and a microwave. The bench space was a bit squishy for everything but you just made it work. There was a bait station opposite our cabin which is very useful and we used it. The locality of the site is great near all the Rotorua lakes and handy to the city also'

'Comfortable beds, and a good location. Check in and out was easy. We had a room with a spa, but it was just an outdoor bath that looked like a spa, and it was all cracked and dated. Had to fill it ourselves on arrival. The door to the spa area also leaked alot with the rain we had during our stay. If you are after a quiet stay, I would recommend an upstairs room as its quite noisy in the downstairs rooms. Overall not a bad place to stay, but not sure if we will be back.'

'Staff were great. Amenities were shown to us personally. The room was lovely. Dinner was fantastic and the breakfast before leaving topped off our stay perfectly. The grounds are amazing with great views of lake Rotorua. Very intimate hotel.'

'So glad I booked this place! It felt home away from home for this solo traveler. You had the privacy of your own studio but could go into the home and feel welcomed. Breakfast was such a fun experience with the food and other guests. Fresh coffee, fresh orange juice and freshly cut up fruit were my favorite! Beds were comfortable, slept good. Location was amazing for all the site seeing. I rented a car and it was short 5 to 20-30 min drives to all the great outdoor sites and events. I...

'Het regal Palms is handig om in Rotorua te zitten. Het complex lijkt groter dan het is . Handig met parkeren, verwarmd zwembad en klein midgedgolf erbij.'

'Very friendly hosts who were very proactive in making their guests as comfortable as possible. Check-in very quick and easy. The room was very spatious and the bathroom had a jacuzzi. Kitchenette with all the essentials was also there. No restaurant but you can order a very reasonably priced and good breakfast that is served in the room. Hosts are knowledgeable about their city and the region and gave very good advice over local attractions and activities.'

'Overall a charming property with a very spacious room at a good rate. A/C and heating both worked very well. Great location right within walking distance to main dining and shopping area. Couple things to note is there is no elevator at the property but staff was able to assist with bringing luggage up. It is also private entrance to the rooms, like motel style'

'We want to give 5 stars for this place, but unfortunately our stay was flawed. The water heater was not working, and the staff was not available during the evening time. So, we have to do cold shower in winter time. Not pleasant. We tried contacting the front office, but no one returned our message until now (a week later). Otherwise, the facility is pretty nice.'

'Stayed 2 nights with a friend so was nice to have beds in two separate rooms. We had a room off the road which was nice and quiet. Everything was clean and room felt spacious. Main heat pump was in the bedroom so could get cold but they provide a plugin heater that you can use in that room just takes a while to heat the room. Staff were friendly.'
