'Someone else said old but well maintained. They were correct. I walked into the room and the AC was off. It was about 80 in the room. No odd smell. Just hot. The AC cooled it down quickly and efficiently. The sheets were soft. Choice of flat or fat pillows. Bed was hard, but at least it was clean and smell free. I’m picky, and was satisfied'

'We frequently choose older motels that cost less. We look closely at their photos, and if it looks updated and clean we choose it. Usually we find it is owned/managed by an immigrant family, frequently from the Subcontinent, and they do an excellent job with the older property. The Royal Inn in Hudson, Wis., is such a place. It was very clean, the air conditioning worked well on a hot day, parked right in front of our room. Convenient location.'

'All vending machines out of order, no elevator to reach second floor. Had to carry luggage up stairs. Don’t think they have a pool, if they do, I wasn’t told where it was. The online pictures are not what it actually is. Sorta reminds me of a rent by the hour motel you see in the movies. Won’t be going back there again.'

'This hotel is garbage, I DONT RECOMMEND this to my friend. We paid almost 500$ for 2 nights and then our deposites got deducted another 40$ because they think we’re smoking. Which is we’re not. My husband and I bought a candle for our special night . And then 60$ more because of the bed sheets have stain on it. And the shampoo and soap I don’t have nothing to say .What f kind of hotel is this. Don’t used this hotel for your vacation . NOT GOD AT ALL.'

'The price is right for this property. It is an inexpensive hotel that is fairly clean, and in a good location but lacks much for a continental breakfast. The workers were not rude, but they were not friendly.'

'There was a mouse running down the hallway. The entire hotel smelled of marijuana. I didn’t get into my room until 3:40 even with check in at 3. After showering and walking barefoot in my room the bottoms of my feet were black. Disgusting. I would never stay here again even if it were free.'

'The parking lot was covered in weeds and cracks in the asphalt…grass areas were overgrown with weeds as well. It looked like the hotel was not in business. Main sign out at the street was a torn piece of plastic no longer covering the sign of the previous hotel. Room was dated and worn with serious rust on the bathroom door hinges Breakfast at 7 am was non-existent and consisted of a few store bought doughnuts and three cereal choices and a gallon of milk. Very disappointed with our stay'
