'My sister and I spent just a couple of nights here and truly fell in love with the house and staff. Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life.'

'Gorgeous Hotel centrally located in the village of Hawkshead, room had all the facilities, key pad entry so no keys to carry Bottles of water by the bedside and even my favourite Costa Coffee pods for the coffee maker Beautiful restaurant/cafe downstairs. Breakfast was included in my stay and was one of the best I’ve had Staff were very helpful and very nice Really can’t fault it and would definitely stay again '

'The Westbourne is a good bed & breakfast. Never met anyone from the staff, no one is on premise outside of check-in times it seems. Just a girl serving breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was good.'

'Glenn and Susann were lovely hosts who showed us great hospitality. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was skillfully cooked to order, full of options and served with great attention. We enjoyed our stay at Storrs Gate House during our time in the Lake District. '
