'Nice one bedroom apartment in a resort that has a nice ambiance. We saw squirrels in the trees next to our building and there were a lot of ducks. Receptionists were kind and willing to help.'

'Staff were amazing, room was beautiful and very well kept. Would only have to comment on the light shining through the bathroom window all night from the storage area outside, and the shower cubicle wasn't very clean (moldy grout, mold on shower fittings), but the room itself was very modern and warm. We stayed in room 9, which was dog friendly. It was located on the ground floor, right near the entrance to the pub, I was worried we would be able to hear everything going on but I can't say that...

'A really great find! Un peu de cuisine française en Angleterre! Service is excellent, food is so good 10 isn’t enough. They actually know what a ‘kir’ is and the steak comes with a béarnaise thats perfectly made and at the right temperature. The dauphinoise potato was unspeakably good. The rooms are excellent, you can tell that someone has sat and thought about all the little details. Honestly, if you are anywhere near Lancaster for any reason and can find any excuse, you should eat and stay...

'Vriendelijke ontvangst, gastvrijheid zeer goed, personeel top! Smaakvol Lancashire ontbijt, goed restaurant met mooie kaart, ruime propere kamers met mooi uitzicht, iets gedateerde badkamer, locatie geweldig landelijk. Hotel heeft een lift. Hotel straalt rust uit.'
