'We arrived very late after a long journey. Instead of the suite we booked, we got a lodge instead. We didn't care a lot because we stayed there just for one night. We believe the suite has been changed to a lodge because of a very loud party that was going on in the main building. The lodge itself was a bit outdated and suitable for disabled people. The bathroom looked like a hospital and smelled like one. The beds were ok and the kitchen was large and was equiped with everything we needed....

'Fijn, net geopend hotel. Prima ontbijt en restaurant met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Dicht bij Albert Docks en Liverpool One. Grote parkeergarage naast het hotel (Q Park John Lewis). Enige minpuntje is dat je moet inchecken op een machine en dat dat niet gewoon kan (ook als het rustig is) bij een medewerker. Dat is wat onpersoonlijk en past niet helemaal bij het verder redelijk luxe hotel. Maar dat is een detail.'

Anyway two topics for improvement: The mirror in the bathroom needs a light, I could not shave myself properly and the desk needs a lamp as well. I was unhappy that the window could not be fully opened due safety regulations. As the week was very hot outside the room could not be vented with fresh air. But the hotel provided an electric vent.
