'Whilst the hotel does not offer a lot of rooms, this is how Linda and Tony, the lovely owners, can offer a personal treatment, attention and chats - all of which were very good. All my requests or problems were addressed as soon as possible and for the best.

'We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.

'What can I say,. The hosts were absolutely amazing from check in to check out. They couldn't do enough for you. The hotel itself is undergoing some major refurbishment which did not impact our stay in disturbance.
