'Overall the property was great - getting access to the property was very easy, it was very clean, and there was plenty of things to do. The host was also very responsive when we had a couple of questions. We would definitely rent it again and it’s great for large groups. '

'The directions to the cabin were easy to follow . The communication was minimal but accurate and timely.The location was very good, out of town and near the state parks. The cabin was very very clean! It was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The view off the back deck was very nice. A very relaxing experience overall. '

'When we walked in, we had to sweep automatically there was dog bones under the bed… went to put coffee by the coffee machine and there was grease all over the coffee machine had to go out and buy a coffee maker mold in the bathroom. They hide it behind a hamper and when I addressed it, nobody said anything but other than that check-in was awesome and all the hiking was great'

'I had a lovely stay at the Jay Bear Retreat's cozy cabin for my solo hiking trip to Hocking Hills. The cabin was immaculately cleaned, and it had everything I needed for meals, showers, and a comfortable sleep after a day of hiking. The location is good for getting to all the Hocking Hills highlights. Overall, a great place to stay that I would happily return to for my next Hocking Hills trip.'

'We stayed for Labor Day weekend. It was a nice quant cabin that was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was ready when we arrived and it was super easy getting to and in the cabin. The location was great as it was close to most of the hiking trails. We loved the hot tub and firepit. '

'Had a great time with family. Enjoyed the nicely set up fire pit & the very relaxing hot tub. They have most anything you may need in the kitchen and more. Kids loved Hazel the horse next door and the outdoor games was a nice touch. The poperty was mostly surrounded by trees making it feel like your own little peaceful retreat!! Melissa was great and answered any questions we had. This would be a top pick when coming back to this area. '
