'The staff went above and beyond when we were running late to ensure we were able to get into our room. They even deep cleaned my room before arrival to assist with my potential allergies. 'Nicely appointed room with comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom (and power shower) with tea & coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a really powerful fan (needed in this warm weather). Slept well even though there was a pub nearby as it felt pretty quiet when the windows were closed. Smart TV was great as I could log intomall my own chanels. Only minor point was there was nowhere to hang up clothes - I think there was a nook for it, so maybe the rail was just missing. No problem...

'The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham. We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills. Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus. We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.'
