'Stayed at this lovely one room cabin for 2 weeks with my adult daughter and 2 dogs. Well appointed kitchenette, comfortable beds, a large TV and internet access - what more could you ask for? How about a charcoal grill and fire pit with seating. We loved it for the easy access to Hagerman Lake just across the border. Hagerman is great for boating, swimming and fishing.'

'A warm welcome by Jay with tips and directions to help the family get settled. The cottage was well prepared for a long or short stay. While an older decor, the cottage has been well maintained and offered some nostalgic forms of media (cassette deck, cassette tapes and dvd player). The days and nights were almost completely silent with plenty of privacy. The screen porch was very nice for dining without bugs buzzing around your plate. This was a very memorable visit and hope to visit again.'

'Nice, clean, cozy, quiet cabin in the woods. Centrally located between Three Lakes and Eagle River. Owner is very good about communication. If you want to really “disconnect” for a while, this is a great place to do just that. '

'This was a great spot for our family of four with two teens. They loved the double queen bunks, basketball hoop, and swimming. The adults loved the large deck for coffee and hanging out and the large dock for swimming, cocktails, and sunsets. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Comfy beds for all. We fished, swam, kayaked, and played a lot of games. It was a great week to disconnect. (But great WiFi if needed!) We will be back!'

'We had such a a good time. The food at the restaurants is amazing. Asuna Suka, Smugglers the Kick back. And the service is spot on we are definitely going back, maybe even this summer. And the cabin is in the best location we were minutes from everything we wanted to do. Just wish we would have had more time.'

'We had a wonderful time up at this Lac Vieux Desert cabin. Beautifully upgraded, very clean, great layout. While the driveway down to the lake is very steep, the heights of the cabin give great views of the lake. We loved sitting out on the deck and and enjoyed sunsets out on the dock -- even caught several fish right off the dock! We definitely hope to return!'

'Great location, very remote. I do like the idea of "offgrid" However wifi would have been better. Life runs on internet and no signal to even make a call. With wifi at least family could get a hold of you in an emergency.'

'The location is a perfect distance tucked back in the woods, but also just 15 min away from town. The cabin was cozy and just right for 2 adults. The ceiling in the loft is a bit low and the staircase is pretty narrow, so smaller people would be more comfortable. The wood burning stove to heat the house was a bit of a challenge to get going, but once we did, it made the cabin nice and toasty! We found that when the wood burning stove got going, we literally had hundreds of flies in the loft...
