'The property is in a very good location with lots of different amenities nearby. It’s walking distance from the harbour. The kitchen is well equipped. Room is spacious and comfortable with dark blinds for the summer days. Only thing I’d change is to add a washer dryer and provide more affordable parking for guests.'

'Hotel just in center of Reykjavik, comfortable proper rooms. Luxury bathroom. Lots of restaurants on walking distance (5-15 min). Good breakfast. One disadvantage: there is no parking facility. We paid €80 each night in the nearby parking garage (advised / proposed by the hotel reception desk), that's an expensive parking.'

'We arrived early and left our luggage to explore Reykjavik, which was no problem at all. Upon check-in, we got a room in the basement, under the bar and lobby area, which got me worried about potential noise problems. 'After parking in the Kolaport bílahús it was a short 5 minute walk to the hotel while looking at the boats in the harbour. The hotel has a bakery right at the entrance so we had to wait for people to move aside in the queue to walk past and get to the reception. Honestly this is the only remotely negative thing there is to say. The reception is very friendly, the interior is wonderful and it feels very safe as you need to use your keycard to access the floor. The room was spaceous, the beds...

'It was a great location for us. Easy parking. Close to shops and stores. I wish the kitchen had a frying pan for eggs. Also, a broom would have been handy.'

'Loved the location, the building was very clean inside and out. Lacking basic room amenities. No TV, radio, or anything anywhere in the building. Power outlets in weird locations. Wasn’t pleased that we couldn’t even enter the building until check in time, that definitely needs to be looked at for future customers with luggage. '

'Bij dit hotel zit je midden in het centrum zonder dat het gehorig is. Wij hadden een deluxe kamer die erg schoon was. Binnen 5 minuten ben je bij busstop 14, van waaruit je alle transfers neemt naar excursies, het vliegveld etc. Er is een bar in het hotel, daar miet je wel direct afrekenen. Ontbijt is oké, maar er is niets warms, dus ook geen omelet of toast. En niet echt variatie. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een verblijf in IJsland.'
