'Mijn bed was niet opgemaakt. De zeer verveelde medewerkster ging zuchtend op zoek naar een lakenpakket. Ze overhandigde deze aan mij en vertelde mij dat ik mijn bed nu op kon maken. Ongeïnteresseerd personeel. Jammer, want ligging is prima.'

'Een eenvoudig hotel, op loopafstand van de Michael’s Mount, met pub (voor de buurt en gasten), poolbiljart en een eetgelegenheid ‘s middags of ‘s avonds. Vriendelijke uitbaters, goed ontbijt.'

'Goed verblijf op onze reis door Zuid Engeland. Mooi terras met (klein) zwembad. Fijn restaurant voor ontbijt en diner.'

'The room was spacious with very good facilities, such as dish washer, washing machine, cooking utensils. Staff were friendly and welcoming. However, room service was not provided during my 3-night stay that made the atmosphere a bit chaotic, especially the toilet hygiene. 'We took a bad start as the property was without electricity when we arrived (a problem of the whole area) but after that was solved, everything in our stay was perfect; The host gives us friendly service of breakfast and the restaurant was FABULOUS, with nice wines and excellent food. I had lobster and enjoyed every bit of it. The garden is pleasant to sit in with a good beer, they have several good beers on tap. I would stay again.'
