'An excellent accommodation for my family requirements. 4 adults and 2 children. Good sized bedrooms, excellent kitchen and living area. Generally well equipped, some cleaning cloths required would be our only thought. Otherwise, excellent hosts who were available if required, and though living close where very descreet. The property was easy to find given the GPS coordinates. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and they were very helpful in all arrangements. There was good instructions...

'We returned to stay at the Old Stables again for a few days, coupled with a visit to Glastonbury and Wells. Again, everything was perfect and we love the location, providing excellent access to both towns, with a wonderful rural setting. The space is warm and cosy, with everything being thoughtfully provided for a self-catering stay. We will certainly be back!'

'Mooie, sfeervolle cottage, die van alle gemakken is voorzien. Goede uitvalsbasis om vanuit het huisje de prachtige omgeving te verkennen. De leuke kippen maken het geheel compleet. Wij hebben hier, ondanks dat we pech hadden met het weer, een prima tijd gehad!'

'Charmouth is a lovely small town and this cottage is the perfect way to experience it. The beach and fossil hunting were our favorite activity. The few shops and restaurantants were lovely...exactly the peaceful holiday I wanted for my family.'

'Relaxing and quiet location. The property was as listed and we were very comfortable during our stay. Little touches like Christmas tree and pint of milk were welcome. Despite the typical British weather the property’s location allowed us to explore the local area such as Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Would thoroughly recommend Berrow beach-quiet and dog friendly! We loved the view out across the fields.'

Ideal location for walking our dog and a wonderful pub providing exceptional food within a few minutes stroll. Splendid National Trust property almost on the doorstep. 'Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport'

'Good venue, clean and tidy. Plenty of parking, space for all the family and lovely garden area. Aga great for keeping the house warm and cooking. Only issue - no shaving point in ensuite or bathroom.'

'This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place.'

'The property is well furnished and very clean. It has all the equipment that is needed, and we were treated to a welcome gift which was lovely (no spoilers). It is very close to a general stores shop and a lovely fish & chip shop We enjoyed our stay and Bridport is a great place.'
