Historische hotels in Lantau Island

'This was our first time in Hong Kong, and we stumbled across The Hopewell Hotel, and were very pleasantly surprised. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The room was huge, spotless and quiet, with a lovely bathroom, and some nice touches. We tend to stick to what we know (main hotel brands) when travelling, so we're a bit unsure what the Hopewell would be like, but it was absolutely brilliant in all areas. There is a...

'Very new, clean room. Great location, friendly staff. Good bed. Nice interior design. Only too warm in the room, I could not get the temperature lower than 23 degrees C.'

'The hotel is a bit dated. The room is tiny and it lacks fresh air. Also, the room smelled a bit off. If you are looking for a great location at an affordable price this could be the right choice. If you need a bit more room, then I suggest a hotel farther away and take a taxi to this area. '

'Met slechts twee kamers per verdieping hoor je vrijwel geen geluiden van je buren. Je dwaalt ook niet door lange gangen, want 2 meter na de lift is je kamerdeur. Heerlijke bedden, mooie badkamer, genoeg kastruimte. Het ligt op 3 minuten lopen van een MTR station en op 8 minuten van restaurant en cafe wijk Soho. Probeer ook het obscure Canteen cafe schuin aan de overkant.'
