'We had a very unpleasant experience staying at WJV Inn Marigondon and would not recommend this property to other travelers.
The biggest issue was the cleanliness. The room was visibly dirty when we arrived. The bed did not appear properly cleaned, the bathroom looked unhygienic, and there was a strong unpleasant odor in the room that did not go away. The walls were stained, and the overall condition of the space made it feel poorly maintained and neglected.
What was especially disappointing...

'They tell you that you have all these amenities or complimentary stuff but they leave out the important details. I had a gift certificate only to find out that you can only use at restaurants within the hotel and not when you check out to cover the room charges. The complimentary drinks, it does not state that you can only claim it at a specific restaurant. The complimentary massage, they would not even accommodate us for the whole time we were there. 'The room smelt like urine of some sort and the sheets had stains on them, the pool looked nice but i didnt stick around to use it as I couldnt force myself to stay there for the 6 nights i had booked I left after the first night.'

'I recommend next time better communication on the location of the property and with the location of where the reservation is sent. The reason for this is we spent an hour and a half once we arrived at the property with the property owner trying to check in having issues verifying the reservation! Then we had a second issue trying to get a parking spot! Last I would recommend the property owner to make sure they clean and thoroughly check over the unit before renting it out, as some of the items...

'I chose this hotel for my birthday treat , and it was perfect! The spa was incredibly relaxing, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable with beautiful views. The staff at the front desk and the manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. They also put a little welcome and birthday cake in my room. Really appreciate it.
