'This was a nice place to stay. It is an old home, so the layout is unusual with steep stairs and walking through one bedroom to get to another, things like that. Unfortunately the portable crib was not usable. We just needed somewhere for 8 of us to stay the night, so it worked for our needs.'

'Exactly as advertised. Spacious, comfortable beds, clean, and had items in the pantry so you don't have to buy the little things; i.e. seasoning, sugar, and oil. Communication was great with the owner. Only slight negative was the smell of cigarette smoke from a previous renter. Not the owner's fault however unfortunate.'

'We were quite happy with our stay here! The pool table was fun, great kitchen space & comfy/cozy fireplace area! The garage was super nice to park our vehicles inside out of the snow!! Our only complaint would be the beds were quite hard. But overall - we would definitely recommend this place!'

'This is a nice little place if you’re traveling on a budget. It has a fenced in back yard, that was great for our dogs, traveling with us. The second bed is extra firm/hard. My kids did not like sleeping on it. The washer and dryer are nice and are easy to work. The owner was professionally responsive to most issues that arose. However, when I booked my stay, the listing showed a hot tub under amenities. The owner did not want to provide any compensation for leaving early, due to the property...

From the from the wind, to the livestock greeting us at the fence, to the dramatic sunrises, to the shy full of stars (and a meteor from the Taurids), the Hummel Cabin was just what we needed for our week of hikes in the Medicine Bow and Laramie Ranges. Valerie and Todd provided immediate response to questions and were great hosts. We would be happy to stay here again!'
