We arrived at the room to be greated by a terrible smell that appeared to be emanating from a very badly stained carpet.
After 3 hours of trying to get this resolved with the third party company that managed the room, the best I was offered was that we would have to put up with it for the night and they would get someone to come at 11am the following morning. Only AFTER I said this was not acceptable and over an hour of silence from the person I was dealing with we where offered a replacement room for the night at 10pm and we had to move all of our luggage. This trip was a birthday treat for my wife and our first evening where we had planned to meet friends for dinner was ruined by the predicament me encountered.
On day two I observed the carpet being cleaned and the waste water removed was BLACK leaving me to assume that it is not cleaned regulary.
The photographs used for the room are the ones the hotel has published, so although the lay out is the same, the photographs do not reflect the true state of the room (scratches on table, stains on couch, broken TV in bathroom).
I can't fault the Hotel staff, and its a great location with access to the MGM grand pool etc, however I would DEFINITELY advise caution by using a third party rental company. You may save a couple of dollars per night, but our experience has definitely soured us on EVER using them again.
