I paid over $700 for a week at this hotel, and this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The property gives off a strong “rent by the hour” vibe and is not somewhere I would feel comfortable bringing my wife and four children.
Check in was smooth, but everything after that was unacceptable.
By 3:30 PM, every trash can on the property was overflowing with garbage. Walking to the room, I saw a large burn hole in the wall and a window panel held together with tape. Inside, the windows were extremely thin and the only barrier between my family and the outside. I did not feel safe staying here.
This is not just a cleanliness issue, this is a safety issue.
What makes this worse is a clear bait and switch. The photos online show a clean and safe property, but the reality is completely different. I documented this with photos. Misrepresenting a property’s condition, especially regarding safety, is misleading and unacceptable.
Because of these conditions, we had to leave and book another hotel for the safety of our family. Despite that, no refund was provided. Charging guests for a stay they cannot safely complete, especially families with children, is unacceptable.
I feel completely misled into booking and lost over $700 on a property that is dirty, poorly maintained, and unsafe. Wyndham should reconsider attaching their name to this location.
Stay anywhere else.
