'This was a nice little place and overall, a great stay. Unfortunately, I was unable to access my Vrbo app (technical issues with the app, nothing wrong with the wifi here) and so did not receive the stay instructions that the homeowner did kindly provide via the app. They were not able to provide us with all the information over text but were responsive with the essentials-There were not a lot of asks- take out the trash, put towels in a laundry basket- really very reasonable and we were happy...

'The Eclipse was an excuse to meet with my oldest grade school friends for the year of our 70th birthday. The place, sitting by the river as the skies went dark, was perfect. Donny is the most gracious host, and his personality pervades the place. He is an amazing woodworker and, overall, a very interesting person. I really appreciate his providing the perfect escape.'

'The place is very clean and access is easy for short drive to Seven Bluffs area crossing for river access with parking $30/day. Leakey is close if you want to eat out (recommend the pizza place) or cabin has all the things to stay in and cook. The bed and recliners were comfortable. The cabin is right off the main road but the road noise wasn’t bad at all. AC kept up with the 100degree heat. 'Quiet and peaceful place to stay. Not exactly on the Frio as described (way across a field) though no water anyway. Very nice back patio. . Great place for day trips to Garner and Lost Maples. Could have better check in instructions.'

'Played Cornhole games in the yard. Had a campfire at night. BBQ,'d during the day. Fished and floated just below the house. The water was cold but was easy to get the body used to. Caught a few fish a piece between 7 of us. Enjoyed the main house with drinks and board games. It was truly our perfect getaway. The weather was humid a couple of days but not too hot at all.
